Mercyhealth Hospital and Medical Center–Walworth

We've been going to Mercy Hospital for a few specialty Doctors & also to the Emergency Area. Just recently, we had to use the Urgent Care & have been very happy with the service. Everyone has always been kind & have treated us with respect. I have noticed that when we had regular insurance & recently had to go on Wisconsin's state insurance......that we were treated equally the same. I would definitely recommend Mercy Walworth to anyone ....... especially a friend.

This skip the waiting room is BS! I used it went to Mercy Walworth at 7pm like I singed up for. When I got there I was informed that it did not matter that I went to "skip the waiting room" and would still have to wait for over an hour to be seen. That would have been find for an adult but it was a 3 year old child. There is no way to sit in a waiting room for that long with a child that is the very reason I tried to skip it. If Mercy Walworth is not going to honer this option it should NOT be offered. To say the least I have never been so disappointed with Mercy!! My family has been going to this Mercy for over 25 years. You know when the care was the best around...not any longer.

Do not,if you value your mental health,see Dr.Callison. She took me off a very important medication because of her ignorance. She would rather see you suffer to support her draconian ideas regarding mental healthcare than show sympathy and empathy towards your health. Another reason not to use Mercy is that they don't care about you as a person. I have had a debilitating pain in my leg for over a year. I saw Dr. Lyon,who is a redeeming factor for this clinic. He recommended physical therapy. The problem is,I'm behind in my payments. I'm on disability and making ends meet is extremely hard,most months I'm in the red,but Mercy really doesn't care whether you are cared for or not,they just want their money. Vote for Universal Health Care take the profit out of health care and put caring,sympathy and empathy in it's place.

Needs more better qualified administration & staff for overall patient /employee satisfaction , health and wellness. The few good ones are why the health system is rapidly growing and doing well. - Requested every year for the past 3 about more food options, PLANT-BASED alternatives , Dairy-free and Meat-less substitutes and little to no change or feedback about it. Also Request since 2014 about a fitness center attached onto the hospital to benefit the community health and wellness as well as the employees and no response about that either. For a hospital in a rural area that can grow exponentially in value of health being real wealth it does not. Very disappointing.
