The nurses Kaci, Diana and Rob were terrific! Kind, gentle and efficient in doing their jobs. They were very attentive to my needs. Dr. Lee was excellent as well. Very comforting but also honest and informative. I've been here (unfortunately) three times in the last year with kidney stones. This staff makes the process as tolerable as it can be and prepared me well for caring for myself when I left.

I have been to the Mercy Allen Hospital ER many times. I have always been treated well by the nurses and the doctors. Dr. Paul has been my doctor quite often and has always been cordial and professional. They take care of everything very professionally. Some things are out of their hands, such as the ambulance. If you want an ER that will take care of you right away go to Allen. I would rather go there than have to deal with hours of waiting at a larger hospital to see the doctor. It's a small hospital and one needs to remember that when they go to the ER there.

I see really bad reviews here so I just want to add mine. I am an RN over 20 years and have been going to this hospital, as well as my children and grandchildren, there whole lives. We have always had great treatment by the ER. My daughter was just in recently and she was treated quickly and was properly diagnosed/treated. I have not ever had a bad experience with this ER.

Mercy Hospital in Oberlin is the typical small town hospital. Surgeries are performed here but small ones.
