They are affordable but do not communicate when you ask questions rather just give a vague response. They also failed to file my taxes correctly as I received a letter almost at the end of the year from CRA advising my income was reported incorrectly.
Alert: Only cons No pros 1. Loooong waiting time, even with appointment. 2. Take a Lunch box with you. 3. Don't make any other commitments for the day. In the other room there was a guy i was observing for 2 hours, He was just having fun, chit chat. Once I was called inside after 4 hours waiting time, it was the same guy, I was shocked. They were making us to wait just to show they are busy????? to show they have many clients???? I was literally shocked to see this kind of behaviour in Canada. He is using a back door to enter his office room and the other room i mentioned. When I asked him about rrsp, he simply said this is not for you. If he is really busy that he cannot answer, he could have suggest to check any Website/Video.
This Ganesh guy is a con who acts god. Pathetic parochial guys filled with half baked idiots from one state in India. Never ever to waste time and money. In contrast Mercury founder Puva and Mano are extremely knowledgeable and professional in their approach
*LONG REVIEW ALERT, BUT WORTH IT* I was doing tax with these guys for few years, everything was ok. Since last two years the service mentality changed with these associates. I had a horrible experience with these guys this year. I applied for tax paying the charge they requested. I booked appointment for a date and submitted my documents online and waited for two hours at home hoping I will get a call from them. No response, they said they will respond at their own convenience and requested to pay the money before the service. I paid and then I was emailing them to ask when I will get a call or when the tax will be applied? no proper response and then one day I called Ganesh Guess he is the boss to talk about my tax he said I am busy can I call you tonight I was like ok He did not call me that night and called me next day and answered some questions. They mentioned that they filed the tax and there will be a refund, I said thank you. But CRA emailed saying that I have pay some amount instead of refund, I emailed them asking a question. A guys named Sravan Kumar replied me one of the rude associate saying that I did not give them the T4E. I replied asking why didn’t you guys ask me for T4E, I would have given it. His response was, It’s not our responsibility to ask for all the documents, you should give on your own. I was surprised to see the response, I told them that I am highly disappointed with the service and I may discontinue service with you guys. After two days Ganesh emailed me saying these exact words “ How do we know that you have a T4E? Can you please let us know how we are supposed to whether any of our clients availed Unemployment insurance benefits if they don’t provide us with the documents? You are in customer service business, and I am going to A gym and have a fitness trainer. Does he know what prescriptions I am taking, And SHOULD I complain if he doesn’t know? What kind of response is this? I responded him this “ In one of my word document I have sent to you, it is mentioned that I claimed EI for last year. Please go and check the document I have sent. When I mentioned the EI claim, you should have asked for the T4E, that is your responsibility not the clients, there is a reason why we go for paid service, so If I mentioned EI claim you should ask me, not the other way around. Even if I didn’t mention it, we were in lockdown for the last two years, so before applying for tax you should ask your clients if they have taken the EI or not. And talking about Personal trainer my friend, the Personal trainer will ask if the client is taking any prescriptions, any injuries, or any medical conditions before start training. THE TRAINER WILL ASK THE CLIENT EVEN IF THEY DONT MENTION IT. That’s called customer service. So the personal trainer who is getting paid is responsible to get the information not the one who’s paying. And yes, you should complain if a trainer don’t ask you the necessary things. So please don’t teach me what a customer service is. I don’t want to talk about your assistants and their rude replies when I ask them a question. At least If you valued your client you would have called me, even if am wrong, you should have explained to me over phone, not an email with this kind of response. This shows how much you care” I guess it’s a genuine reply. I won’t be continuing with them and won’t recommend as their attitude towards their customers will change eventually. Looks like they are focusing on high profile clients only. Giving a ZERO star.
I have got my taxes done from them for the last 2 years. Last year too they had made a major mistake but atleast were available for follow up by phone and email. This year too they have made a big mistake and calculated my income twice. It has been a nightmare to get it touch with them. I have emailed 3 times called 5 times, left messages on voicemail as well as with the receptonist but no response. They now keep sending me emails to sign the tax return which I cannot sign.
My family has been doing taxes with Ganesh for the past 12 years. He is knowledgeable, curious and humerus, he knows what he is doing while still keeping a professional manner. He's a CA with intricate knowledge with Canadian and USA taxes
Dont waste your whole day with them, find something else, no professionalism
-No professionalism. -Longer wait times than emergency room at the hospital Be prepared to wait for 4 5 hours just to file your taxes. Please bring some food and drink as you can get fainted there while waiting and starving. Also a sleeping bag is recommended as well so if you get tired you can have a nap. -No communication between the staff. -Careless attitude shows they don’t want to retain the clientele at all. - Nobody answers a call or replies to emails or voicemails I wonder why don’t they just cut the line if they don’t want to pick up the calls ever -With every query, you have to wait again to get some attention. - No infrastructure organized method for the queues. You can’t just leave your number or put your name on the waiting list so you are stuck there for hours and if you are lucky you might get a seat or you have to stand. I would rather spend that much time and learn how to file taxes thn waiting there. Good luck if you still want to go here to file taxes.
