Lovely nostalgic mercantile with soda fountain. Shakes, floats and old fashioned sodas. I had a chicken salad sandwich on wheat toast and a cherry phosphate. Yummy! TheresT a wall of candy. A Coke cooler. A counter to sit at or booths! A very fun time. Building is from 1880 with a tin roof and original marble counter.
Mercer mercantile and soda shop is a good idea when visiting Mercer or the area. It's a great old fashioned place with a rustic feel. The owners are very nice and can make over 55 types of pop/soda and ice cream specialties. There is also antique collectibles in the store.
Great milkshakes and floats. Lots of historical items. One of the most unique stores in the area.
Love this place. Its a must see for yourself type of place.
