You're instantly greeted while walking through their doors and given the menu to order. I got the Pulled Pork Sandwich, with fries and added cornbread. The service was phenomenal. The owner came and checked on us to make sure the food was good, which it was. Our food was flavorful, hot, full plate of food which filled us up. My friend and I came here for my birthday, and the owner of the restaurant made us a delicious dessert. I would highly recommend this restaurant, and I cannot wait to go back and try more of their dishes.
Wow! Amazing barbecue house! Pulled pork was flavourful, 1/2 slab of ribs were tender and juicy. With generous portions, mouth watering aroma, and overall hip feel to the diner, this place rocks the blues!
The house music fits the environment of the restaurant. Blues feel with appropriate music. The service is very good. The fella running the till told me while their chicken is very good not ordering the the brisket or pulled pork would be a mistake. So I told him to order me what you think is best and not tell me. My sandwich showed up, and WOW, the pulled pork was awesome. My coworkers' rib ends meal was absolutely awesome too. Most places advertise "BBQ," but this place does it. The house fries are good and fresh baked corn bread . I would recommend coming in with an empty stomach. Disappointment isn't in the vocabulary for this place!
Food was amazing! One of the best po'boys we've had and our favorite place to go to. Staff is also very welcoming. We had the catfish sandwiches and collard greens which was yummy. Next time we'll try some BBQ.
Food was great. I'm big eater and the combo plate was more then enough food. Also the staff was very friendly.
Took my family here last night and we did the math and decided to get the Elvis platter plus a side of collard greens for me. Man oh man was it a lot of food, and it was really delicious. Collard greens were great too. I love the variety of meats and dishes. It was my first time eating here and I can’t wait to go back! We got the Memphis Feast platter, it was just two of us so we had leftovers for 2 days! I went to a similar barbecue place in Edmonton, but Memphis Blues was way better, more food for a lesser price, higher quality of meat and the atmosphere is great! I love the retro decor and music they play. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious and came out quick! I told everyone I know about it! My only suggestion to the restaurant would be to maybe add some sort of vegetarian/meat alternative options, like a beyond meat sandwich or something, my grandparents want to take us but my bf’s sister is vegetarian so she will just have salad and fries. Obviously not a big deal though! : keep up the great work!
We had a late lunch here today, it was absolutely amazing!! Portions were huge , was so darn good. Pulled Pork , baked beans , coleslaw,potato salad, corn bread. Beef Brisket, fries. The guys there were so accommodating and friendly. 5 stars plus for great food and friendly staff !
Service is fantastic here, great people. The BBQ is quite good, and they let you customize your order. The portion size and value are quite good, it's a bit more expensive than a fast food place but much better quality.Food: 5/5
Memphis Blues is always our favorite spot when ordering for the work crew. The food is always consistent, even for large orders 30-35 people with never any mistakes being made. The owner is so nice and very accommodating, having our food prepared and ready before the restaurant opens at times. Highly recommend this place for some of the best bbq in the city.
