Memorial South Park

I have three young children that are all boys, and they are very interested in sports as well as outdoor activities so we usually have our playtime at the park where I can just sit and watch them play, sometimes I play with them where we can do a lot of fun games.

Memorial Park is such a fun place to visit! It’s super big with lots of green grass and tall trees that give nice shade on sunny days. My family and I like to bring a picnic blanket and snacks to sit and eat together. The playground is the best part—it has swings, slides, and climbing structures. I love going down the big slide really fast and swinging as high as I can.nnThere’s also a big open field where you can run around, play soccer, or fly a kite. Sometimes, my friends and I play tag, and we get so tired from running and laughing. There are benches around the park where my parents like to sit and relax while watching me play.nnI also noticed there are flowers planted in some areas, and they look so colorful and pretty. In the fall, the leaves fall all over the ground, and I love crunching them under my shoes.nnSometimes, the park has events like little fairs or music performances, and those are really fun too. Memorial Park is a great place to play, have fun, and spend time with family. I always feel happy when we go there, and I can’t wait to visit again!

It’s a huge gorgeous park with gigantic trees and benches around. An ideal park for a refreshing walk, a healthy jogging or a relaxing afternoon with family and friends. The park is adorably well-maintained. It has sports amenities for tennis, baseball, an athletic track, exercise equipment. And for kid’s fun, playground, swings and slide. The picnic area is near the pond. Washrooms are clean. Parking is on the street since it’s near a residential area.

There are several soccer and baseball fields and a standard running track within the park. Many community events take place in the park. Families and Canada Geese regularly picnic on the grass. On site and street parking are available. The public washrooms are open year round.

Nice park with loads of recreational facilities including cricket, lacrosse, baseball, tennis, soccer and a running track. Wading pool on Westside of tennis courts, but not sure if it is operational in the summer. Outdoor exercise equipment with parallel bars, pull up bars and more. Home of the Cloudscape comics society. Park benches throughout.
