Got a Classic and a Boss Hog at the Melt truck. First impression of this place was that the food was super fast which was great cause we were on the way to catch our ferry back to Vancouver. Between the Classic and Boss Hog, I personally preferred the Classic. But both sandwiches were really good. Highly recommend the bacon! If you wanna beat the queues at the Brekkie/brunch places, this is a definitely an option!

Original post—early 2021 Ooh, yummy sammich! My first time “Melting” but I’ll be back now that I have carshare and can get over here sometimes. Great balance of flavours, not too expensive — $10 including tax for coffee and a “classic”. Great buns from Bond Bond’s, egg’s a perfect medium, not too much mayo. Balance, grasshopper. There is no seating at all, just the truck, so either eat off your hood or take it to go. I’ve always lamented the loss of the breakfast bocadillo at Chorizo & Co, once they changed hands, but this is definitely my fave breakfast sandwich in town now. I can finally stop lamenting. : — Update in aug 2021: Still amazing, still friendly service. Don’t dally, get there early, because once supplies run out, he’s gone. One man show. It’s best to go before 10:30, because some days are busier than others and you don’t want to miss out.
Sandwich was tasty and messy, just the way I like them! The Melt Truck is in a parking lot in a light industrial area, so don't go if you need a pretty view, unless you're planning to drive your sandwich to another location.

Come here all the time. The hogs are amazing. My personal favourite is the boss hog with extra banana peppers. Service is great.
The jammer, top 10 breakfast sandwich!! Love this truck, get there early because it’s gone by the early afternoon. Great grilled cheese but the breakfast sandwich’s are great and affordable. Owner is super friendly and service is fast. Great local ingredients too.

The best breakfast sandwich in the city. Whole Hog with a tomato is my go to order.
So good! I've tried it twice and have zero complaints. I don't like spicy food at all, but the sriracha mayo is perfect, not too spicy. The runny egg adds the little creaminess you need for all the meat. I subbed tomato for the banana peppers and it was delicious.
