Melt Kitchen at the Vault

Our first time. My husband loved the food. Me, not so much. It was ok. It was hard to eat the melt sandwich with a plastic fork and knife. My son liked the big cola bottle decor. Waitress was a little snippy, which was offputting. At every restaurant Ive ever been at Ive always ask for a glass of water with lemon. They only have bottle water, so I asked if they had lemon, and was told again, we only sell bottle water . So I said I wanted nothing to drink. When I paid the bill, I tipped less then usual, but was still almost 50%. She was super nice after that. The brownie was awesome and I dont care much for sweets. I hope her day got better. Will I go back there to eat? No, I wont choose it again myself.

Awesome Service, Delicious soups and Sandwiches. My only critique would be that the Steak Sandwich should be cut into slices and not just cut in half, and their was a bit too much gristle on the steak itself. The flavor was amazing, steak was perfect medium rare, but was a messy/tough eating experience. If that was fixed, then the Steak Sandwich would be a 10/10. Squash soup was FIRE, absolutely tasty. Looking forward to seeing more from this place!

Plenty of options for the vegetarian in your family and plenty of meat options for the rest of us. The food won’t disappoint. My wife told the server it was the best sandwich she’s ever had. Neat old time bank entrance complete with gunport in the window to keep the robbers away and an incredible old time bank safe vault in the back. Amazing! The ‘best of both worlds’ sandwich may be the best I’ve ever had. Tomato soup was excellent. Would drive from Illinois to have it again. Yum!

Melt Kitchen has some phenomenal food! I would highly recommend Melt Kitchen to anyone. I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. Great food! Great place!

Chicken curry sandwich is delicious perfect with some tomato bisque soup. Great service and nice atmosphere. Perfect lunch spot!

My husband and I just finished our lunch here. Everything was great, from the service, to the amazing pot roast sandwich, to speaking with the chef. The building is also really neat! We are excited to come back.
