Melrose Dental Practice - Dr. Samantha Richards & Dr. Kim Danylchuk

Couldn't be happier with Dr Sam. I've been a patient now for about 3+ years. I used to go to Hollinger but when I lost insurance and went on odsp hollinger would constantly refuse to fix teeth or force me to pay out of pocket. At Melrose dental they have never refused to fix anything or tell me that odsp won't cover what I need done. Even if its a root canal that needs to be done. I have had a molar that requires fixing on a yearly basis however I believe it could be that it's my fault or that it needs a complete crown i dont think odsp covers crowns but yet every time it needs to be fixed it gets repaired. Sometimes my appointments are stretched out but usually that's because she's booked and from my perspective that's not a terrible thing. Just means I need to be more proactive with my appointments rather than reactive.

Whenever we arrive it’s always pleasant. Appointments are always on time. Samantha uses great terms for my 8 year old to make him feel at ease and explains all the tools to him one by one that she will be using. My son leaves them happy and always reassured for his next appointment, and mine as well. Staff as well are always great and friendly. Highly recommend!

So... Im trying to get my head around something here. Ive been to this office twice on my limited insurance for assessments and recommendations of the work needed. So when I go to make the appointment to get actual work done Im being told...I need another assessment done and then I can book an appointment for 3-4 weeks later get my teeth worked on? So now I've wasted this time and my insurance on this run around...Absolutely ridiculous. Guess Im going to Hollinger....And I thought finding a doctor would be tough in this town.

Definitely a no go from me. Would like to honestly rate less. Horrible customer service the person working the front door.

Great experience at this dentist. Fast, efficient and friendly.

Really professional and courteous. Would recommend to anyone.
