Carolyn was amazing, the service she provided to me was exceptional. I instantly connected with her and will definitely be going back to the store for all my Melanie Lyne purchases
I really didn’t appreciate no one greeting me even though there was about 7 employees around the cash desk. Not sure why… I came in looking for a clutch for an event and not one person said anything because they were too “busy” to bother saying anything or asking if I needed help. Spring shoes was 10x busier and someone there actually helped me, and they’re kids! Melanie Lyne employees are how old? I think by now they should know how to treat a person. Especially the lady with the blonde bob cut, thanks for the disgusted glare when I was walking out.
If you want to listen to workers gossip at the sales till loud enough for the entire south side of Edmonton to hear, then you’ve found the right store!! We were the only 2 customers in the entire store, they looked at us a few times but failed to even give a simple greeting. I wish I could get paid to do nothing but talk to my friends!! Maybe I should apply here!
My wife received a jacket from her mother for Christmas from this store and wanted to return it as it didn’t fit and she didn’t like the styles in the store. She met resistance right of the bat and the manager was quite rude. They insisted that it be refunded on the original credit card even though my wife had the gift receipt and the original receipt. It is a Christmas gift and it would be very difficult to get her mother into town and to the store for the return. Buyers beware.
Went to the store browsing, 3 sales ladies standing by the door, talking to themselves, completely ignored the fact we just walked in. Interesting enough, a couple walked in after us, they got greeted right away. They’ve got some dresses on sales, still $150-250 after the discount
Tried a few outfits on and not once did any of the four women ask if I needed a different size. They were just yaking amongst eachother. Needless to say I never bought anything.
I would give ZERO stars if I could. What a disappointment! I have bought items online before from this store. Was very happy with the purchases. I recently went into the store to look around. The staff was incredibly rude, not helpful at all. Looked at me like I didn't belong in the store and constantly watched me like I was going to steal something. I reluctantly bought a few items, however will be buying online from now on just to avoid dealing with this horrible staff!
I'm really impressed with the service that I receive when visiting this location. In particular, I found Genevieve to be extremely helpful and very kind and patient. Worth going here to shop
