I lived in the Niagara Region forever and only recently found this amazing place. The walks on the trails are incredibly relaxing. I absolutely love the boardwalk over the lake. Not many people here which leaves natures beauty unspoiled. Decent amount of parking and easy access from the highway.
Amazing place to walk and relax. Have a quite lunch or coffee under the shade admiring natures beauty. Not too many people around but a nice spot to read a book or ponder over the past week and plan the next week. Looking forward to visiting it again. Playground: No Restrooms: Portable only available. Dog-friendliness: Yes Picnic area: No designated picnic area.
Small, yet beautiful trail. The lake is pretty good and a decent sitting area if you are tired.
Great spot for a little stroll, lots of benches to sit on, paths are stroller friendly, Nice big hill for tobogganing in the winter.
Nice place to have a walk. It has a small forest. Although water is not clean.
Spend a lot of time there very peaceful and lots of room for kids and dog to run around :
A beautiful little park with a chance to get some great sunset photos on the boardwalk. The only improvement is to try making it bigger! It’s a pretty short walk for me and my dogs
There’s a small- medium sized parking lot with free parking. Usually this place is not too busy. You can walk a short distance towards a boardwalk along the lake. There is a lookout on the boardwalk. The boardwalk leads to some short trails along the lake. This is a great place to go for a quick stroll and catch up with a friend you haven’t see in a while.
Its cute, small but lovely area to roam. Great fishing spot, you see a lot of locals come here around sunset to catch a fish. Good spot to stretch the legs, walk your dog or have a picnic Restrooms: Porta-Pottys - clean
Nice little getaway trail in Thorold. We've been here twice and it's always been a pleasant visit. It's not too busy, at least on the days we've been. We bring our dog along since it's dog friendly, just keep your dogs on a leash. There's alot of garbage bins which is nice and for the most part it's clean unless you go off the paths into the wooded area. The board walk is nice and gives you a nice view of the lake and surrounding area. Its a nice walk if you want that nature trail feel in minimal time.
