Love this place! It’s definitely one of my favourite places in Penticton, the foods great. I recommend the glory bowl salad, my personal favourite! and the milkshakes are to die for!!! Best milkshake I’ve ever had easily. Very large selection of games for a wide variety of audience. The employees are all super helpful & accommodating and hard workers. They will help you with any questions you have when it comes to playing a game, or take the time to teach you how to play. Which is greatly appreciated. They also provide great recommendations for what to eat
I'm totally in love with this cute board game restaurant! They have a fantastic selection of games to play and buy, ultra friendly staff who take their time to help you with your food and gaming questions, and their food rules! Do try the Spicy Korean Chicken sandwich, and don't fret, it's not as spicy as you'd think. If that ain't your jam, then don't miss their namesake milkshakes. I particularly enjoy the espresso shake! Oh, and try these games while you're at it haha
It's a really awesome place. Well laid out and tons of board games. Beautiful puzzles to buy. I saw an awesome one of an East India Company sail ship. Something to do in this town after 5pm besides drink? Go figure. Almost unbelievable! The staff here were very friendly and professional. I haven't tried them but I have heard the milkshakes are very good here. I plan on coming back with friends down the road. I hope this place stays around.
Great spot to hang out with friends, phenomenal milkshakes, awesome food, super sweet & gentle staff. Took some initiative in the MtG community to host a regular Magic night in a clean, inclusive, & safe environment. Excited to see where else events go, and hoping for some more D&D campaigns!
If you are thinking of places to visit in Penticton this is a fantastic place. They do the best milkshakes and a diverse selection of local craft beers and ciders. Why visit all the individual brewpubs around town when you can try them and play a few board games at the same time. Staff were super friendly and helpful and we've previously had good experience ordering online from here. I wish we lived closer!
A fun place to while away a few hours with like minded friends, and the snacks are most excellent. They really shine as a source for board games. Tha catalogue is huge, and the pricing is super competitive. This is a case where shopping local is always a win.
Great spot to have lunch and a place for all your board game needs. Spicy Korean chicken sandwich was delicious with just the right kick. Also had a scone that was moist and flavourful. The milkshake was made with real fruit and tasted like it was made with the best ice cream. They also have an impressive library of games in the cafe. We ending up buying a few games to play at home. Definitely coming back for games and lunch again.
We enjoyed a night of stay and play. The workers know their games and give great recommendations and guidance. We really enjoyed the milkshakes and cheesecake too. We will be back
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a huge selection of board games... plus doubles. The only item I would address with Meeples and Milkshakes is the cost of the "stay and play" $7.00 is a bit pricey considering the prices of items on the menu already. One idea is to have the fee waived, should a person purchase a milkshake or another item of similar cost. Generally the cost for "stay and play" is much less at other board game cafes. This is the only reason I do not frequent the café! otherwise, great spot!
Fun place for our family! The staff were warm, welcoming and helpful, the games plentiful, and the food good as well. They were fast with prepping our food the glory bowl salad was excellent and regularly brought us water and cleared our dishes. We spent a wonderful 4 hours there and will be back again soon.
