I went there with a group of friends. It was so interesting to see all the older pieces of our history. The home is made extremely well and is quite gorgeous. Love the stained glass it has inside. Tons and tons of woodwork and wood trim. Has a few quirky spots too. It was at holiday time we visited so there was warm cider and cookies to enjoy. Got to go through at our leisure and really look at everything and enjoyed ourselves. Will definitely return in the summer.
It is a nice Victorian house, the mansion has been well taken care of and they had chocolate, coffee and cookies for customers... But I must say the house is small and the tour is very quick for the price
We had a wonderful time touring the Meeker Mansion decked out for Christmas. The restored ceilings were especially interesting. We will definitely be back for other events.
Great place to visit the local history. Mr. Meeker was born near Huntsville, Ohio, December 29, 1830, in a log cabin, his life spanned a period of almost a century in which he lived to see a nation of thirteen million spread to the far Pacific and the population increased ten-fold. He took a prominent part in that expansion and development.
Got to visit for Christmas at the mansion. It is much bigger in person. A gorgeous home full of history. The interactive staff were friendly and got into the theme. I like that there was historical information plaqured on walls so you could learn about each room.Visited onWeekendWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$11–15
Visited here for the first time when all the xmas decor was up and it was amazing! Staff was polite and very knowledgeable with information on the house and family history. Free cider and cookies were available in the kitchen we walked around the whole area outside and inside. Nothing was off limits besides the very top attic i believewhich is where staff go im sure to take breaks
Meeker Mansion is partially restored and partially restoration in progress, and I think it's perfect this way! Good signage throughout explains the rooms or displays. Not much to speak of in regard to grounds.
Great fun. Cool old house. Lots of character and history. I'm still looking for the angry ghost of Ezra Meeker.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$1–5
Great place to buy gifts, learn some history, and fun way view our history and see how people lived before us, there is always fun family events for all seasons. A must to visit next time your in Puyallup.
Facinating place to visit but I often see these hippies hanging out around this place and sometime liter left and right like it’s nothing. It makes me mad cause Im pretty sure Sir Ezra Meekers and his crew had put a lot of hard work and dedication to building this mansion. R.I.P Mr. Meeker/s
