I grew up in Defiance. As a kid I always loved the maple filled sticks!!! I don’t remember even trying another donut there but I am sure I did. A few years ago we brought my daughter and grandkids to visit family and had to stop here more than once. As luck would have it, two years in a row I have been through for my job, first working in Fort Wayne one day and Toledo the next. Guess what’s in between? Home and Meek’s Pastry Shop!! I got 4 maple filled stick and 2 cinnamon rolls for the road. Don’t judge! I didn’t eat them all at the same time, but I wanted to!
Mmmm very good doughnuts and great staff. But they do offer more than just doughnuts but I mean mmmm doughnuts !!!!
We recently moved to Defiance, love donuts, and so we had to give Meeks a try. We found they have some of the best donuts on the planet, they are just levels above anything else we've experienced in several states, and we are through there every week now. Highly recommend!
This is a great place for some amazing cookies, doughnuts, or cakes. Great prices and always friendly staff. 10/10 for the food and the staff.

Hands down the BEST doughnuts this side of the Mississippi. And they were around when my dad was young. We go for doughnuts a couple times a month before work 545a.m.-615a.m. And I've passed the love of Meeks on to my children. Any time I go for doughnuts with my dad I always purchase a couple dozen extra to bring some to my kids before school and to spread smiles to my co-workers. I'm sure Meeks will continue to spread smiles for many generations to come.
My favorite spot for doughnuts. Even being on the road for work, I've never found another bakery that hits the tastebuds like a Meek's doughnut does. Maybe I'm partial since this was my hometown bakery.
One of the best donut shops in the USA! Literally this is Bavarian bliss! There donuts dont disappoint! They also make English muffin bread once a week that is absolutely amazing! If yoy haven't been here go and if your passing through do a defiance donut detour
The doughnuts were simply outstanding!
