Yummy Turkish food that is a perfect break from the lobster I’ve been eating all week. I ordered the cacik a yogurt dish and chicken kebabs with grilled veggies. Total was $18 at lunchtime
Love this place! Unfortunately the deck was full, but inside was nice too. Good drinks, friendly staff, love the food! Bummed there was no Sangria that night, but we will be back. This cute tree is across the street!

Food was absolutely delicious! I am a coward and did not order anything that in any way was hard to pronounce... But my dining companions ordered items more exotic, and I was able to taste everything and enjoyed it all. The dining area inside was very spacious and roomy with high ceilings, we actually went back several days later and ate on the outdoor raised patio. Moderately priced, I felt it was reasonable for the quantity and quality of food we received.
Very below average stuffed grape leaves and gyros plate for a very above average price. Grape leaves were bland with mushy rice. For $20 a gyros plate should be really good, but the meat had below average flavor and had been cut hours earlier so it was dry and chewy. It was worth about $10 or less but at $20 it was absolutely unacceptable. I've had better in airports. This place used to have great reputation among locals so we we're expecting much better. Very sad.
We found this place through a Groupon and are glad we did. The sampler appetizer was really good and surprised me because I didn't expect to enjoy the white bean our carrot salads which ended up being wonderful. The moussaka was also very good and large enough that the two of us couldn't finish.
Food is great! Before coming here, I've never said "the vegetables are amazing!" We had Hummus with Pita as an appetizer. The pitas were smoked which made everything great. Next we had lentil soup. It was alright. Finally we had Chicken Kofte with both potatoes and vegetable kebab. Again, these vegetables were amazing. The chicken with the mushroom sauce was delicious. By the way.... The Baklava is also amazing! Great place!
My husband and I love this restaurant. The owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The food is delicious, and I particularly like the guvech dishes. The service is usually quite good. I have never had a problem like some reviewers describe and their descriptions make me wonder if we ate at the same restaurant. I recommend this wonderful establishment.
I had my birthday lunch at the Mediterranean Grill. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared. Three days later I returned to have salmon, rice and vegetables. The salmon was cooked to perfection! My husband and I plan to have our next date night at the Mediterranean Grill.
Went for dinner last week and ordered salad and steak kabobs. Wonderful flavors and fresh vegetables also. Highly recommend if you are visiting Freeport Maine area. Nice selection of wines as well. Relaxed atmosphere and casual dining with flair.
