On Sunday, July 20, 2025, my friend and I went on a day trip to Thornbury & Meaford. This was our last stop there. It was a perfect day for a walk through the harbour & marina! The water was beautifully clear and the park was very well maintained, as were all the grounds in Meaford! There was plenty of free parking and on the day we went, there weren't many people, so it was very quiet and peaceful! The lighthouse views were simply gorgeous! It was a great ending to a fabulous day!!
Very nice spot and lots of areas to fish just down from the marina and along the Harbour. Very beautiful spot to take a walk and it is accessible. Lots of parking available as well.
Booked two nights for an RV site. There was a mix up, and someone else was told they could stay an extra night in my spot. The guy refused to move.nThe staff made the mistake, but they handled it very well. They went out of their way to take care of us and accommodated our needs.nIf you just need a place to park with a 30amp plug, this place is great. Appreciate the staff taking care of their mistake.
Beautiful scenery. Sailboat lessons. Pay per launch boat launch. Fishing off the pier near the bridge. Wheelchair accessible park bench. Pleanty of parking. RV lot. Covered picnic area. It was peaceful. NO SWIMMING! If you want to swim theres a pool and 2 beaches nearby
The Meaford Harbour and Marina is a gorgeous place to visit, whether you’re walking along the waterfront, watching the boats, or catching a sunset. It’s always well kept, peaceful, and one of the highlights of Meaford. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in town.
