McNews is open all year long with the exception of Christmas Day. 1 to 2 hour free street parking is available along Lonsdale Avenue and 15th Street.

Story

Located in North Vancouver's Central Lonsdale area, at the corner of 15th Street and Lonsdale Avenue, McNews is one of only a handful of independent newsstands left in the Great Vancouver area.

This local family owned and operated business has enjoyed a steady and loyal customer base since it opened its doors in 1978. The store carries a large assortment of local and world newspapers, upwards of 2000 different magazine titles, books, crossword/puzzle books and much more.

And the service is good It's one of my local store that o visit and spend the $'s to get the knowledge that o seeking Thank you need stand. Hope they stick area. McNews is great. Tons of newspapers and magazines. Lotto, sweets and everything else you might expect in a news stand. All of this at a great location. Go there, you won't be disappointed!
I’ve been going here for many years 20. It’s one of the best shops for domestic and international magazines,newspapers and crossword puzzles in the lower mainland. I’m a 30 minute hiway drive and never disappointed.
