Wagner is a bulldog type who really knows how to take things to the limit and beyond. He'll do intimidating things like tell attorneys on the other side -- privately, of course -- there won't be a meeting unless they are prepared to capitulate. He also likes to send emails in large type to add to his intimidating tone. He's a showman. He likes to say that the court would rule this way or that and to sound expert but of course he can't really know. He exaggerates a lot and acts like he knows everything but he doesn't. If that's the type of representation you want, go with Bruce. If not, look elsewhere.

The disgruntled person who wrote the other review here nonetheless gave Bruce Wagner 3 stars! I've worked with several of the attorneys at McNamee Lochner, Titus, & Williams Bruce Wagner and been very satisfied with all. In particular, I've received outstanding service from Bruce Wagner, who heads the dedicated and hard-working family law division at this firm. From initial inquiry through subsequent divorce and custody negotiations and proceedings, I found Bruce to be responsible, knowledgeable, and clear-headed. Where other attorneys had recommended litigation, Bruce exercised restraint and cautioned me, as the client, against overreacting and making heated decisions. He strove always to help me reach for settlement, which we ultimately did. He also made it clear throughout that I was in charge, and never acted without my direct request or agreement. Expect to pay top dollar, but get top-quality service and expertise.
