I had a boudoir shoot done last summer done with Robert. We discussed on the phone what I was looking for. Once at the studio we discussed things again. Talked about what I was and was not comfortable with. Once the shoot began I was a little nervous but soon relaxed and had a blast. Once I saw my photos I fell in love with all of them. My husband also loved them all. So much we recommend our daughter to go and see Robert for her engagement and wedding photos. We are happy to say they chose to go with Robert and are very pleased with the photos from their engagement and wedding!!!
I went in for my consult with Paul and had a wonderful experience. He was very professional and easy to talk to. He was very knowledgeable and gave me great ideas. The day of my boudoir shoot he made the environment very comfortable. I was extremely nervous, but he talked me through and the photos turned out amazing! I am very happy with the photos, and my fiancé was even happier with the result. Thank you for all of your work.
We did an in-studio engagement session with Paul and he was great! Atmosphere was very comfortable and the set up was good; we were able to get a variety of different shots in different settings. Images were sharp and detailed. Would recommend!
The quality of pictures was good, but we hated the backgrounds the photographer chose - they made our portraits look very cheap and there was no option of a 'neutral' background included for each set of portraits. The photographer Paul was nice, but he did not show us any options for backgrounds to choose from and what he chose was absolutely tasteless. The prices are absolutely ridiculous - $350 for a CD with digital images!!! And I was told this is with a discount!!! We have had a way better experience with other photography places. I will not go to this place again and will never recommend it to anyone!
All I can say is that they strive for the best customer service. Paul is an amazing photographer. Takes great shots and is so patient. His staff is also amazing. Always smiling. Friendly. Helpful. Just an over all an AMAZING experience for my wedding. They made it all so easy. Thank you so much to all of you that helped me. I will be back for more pics once our family gets bigger ;
although the photographer seemed very knowledgeable, our engagement photos did not turn out well as there were almost no photos where we both look good it's not just us as we have had other professional photos that turned out great. You can't get digital copies unless you pay $400 and their print prices are absolutely ridiculous $30 for a single 5×7. I would never consider paying those prices for the quality of photos we got
Bottom line: I was 100% unimpressed with my experience and hated all the pictures taken. I won a boudoir shoot with McMaster from the Taboo show. During the pre-shoot consult, the photographer suggested ideas that were very cheesy and contrived - wearing a boyfriend’s shirt, leather jacket, tall boots - even after I told him that was not my style. I did not get a tour of the studio space, so I had no idea what the setting of the shoot would be. The day of the shoot: the studio space was NOT boudoir! I was expecting a bed at least, but all there was was some large boxes with black fabric and a black back drop, and a bare open area with a tacky white backdrop. Every pose he had me do was also really cheesy, not sexy or at all what I wanted, and he didn’t school my facial expressions at all. He cut our hour short after 45mins saying “I think we have plenty of good shots”. At the viewing right after I hate every photo— it looked as contrived as it felt, the pictures all had an unflatterig forward-frontal angle, and the lighting was overbright. The entire style was better suited to 90s grad or family photos rather than boudoir. He said he thought they all looked great, obviously lacking an eye for good boudoir. Then it was $350 for a CD of the photos— an absurd price designed to force you to buy their prints. I went to my boudoir photo shoot expecting to feel sexy and empowered, and left feeling totally disappointed and deflated. I would never recommend them to anyone.
Just plain awesome!!! I am a makeup artist and have been working with Rob and Paul for over 20 years. Great guys and amazing photographs. My clients always say Robert is so easy going and makes them feel comfortable in front of the camera, even though they were nervous. Im going to book my second family portrait with McMasters this summer.
I had a TERRIBLE experience with McMasters. I received a certificate for an hour photo shoot plus an 11 x 17 printed photo. It took us 2.5 months to book our photos Which in the beginning i thought was good because it meant they were busy. Once we got called in to have our photos done, the shoot ended up only being 15 minutes long and only included 4 different poses. All 4 of the poses had the same background, and props. About a month later, we got in to look at our photos and decide what we wanted. We were going to pay the $300 and get the disk so we could have them all.... but when we started looking through the photos, they were all messed up! Some had our eyes closed, some our puppy was not looking, the lighting was bad, etc. We had to pick one photo for our free print, so we did, and it has now been another 2 months when he told me it would be printed in 2 weeks and i have still not seen my picture. I have phoned several times, and nobody has an answer as to why this is happening. I am extremely frustrated, and would not recommend this place to ANYBODY!!!!
The owner, Paul, was fantastic to deal with. He came in on his day off to shoot some group shots for our company, all because we had a very tight deadline. The price was right and the pictures turned out great - will definitely be going back for any future photo needs!
