Story

McMahon Stadium is a Canadian football stadium located in Calgary, Alberta. The stadium is owned by the University of Calgary and operated by the McMahon Stadium Society.The stadium is located between the downtown core and the University of Calgary, north of 16 Avenue NW between Crowchild Trail and University Drive. It is within walking distance of the Banff Trail C-Train station.It serves as the home venue for the University of Calgary Dinos, Calgary Colts of the Canadian Junior Football League, Calgary Gators and Calgary Wolfpack of the Alberta Football League, and the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League, who formerly played at Mewata Stadium from 1935 to 1959. The stadium also served as the open-air venue (as an ice rink) for the National Hockey League's 2011 Heritage Classic match between the Calgary Flames and the Montreal Canadiens.

Had a fantastic time at the inaugural Stampede Bowl. Stamps won! GREAT CROWD! Brett Michael's at half time show. Sound was great which was a surprise. Beer is too expensive but was cold. Everyone was having a good time. We sat on visiting side of the field but there were still way more Stamps fans than Bomber fans. Great evening outnHope to go again next year.
We always have a lot of fun at the games. We feel safe in the stands but giving it 4/ 5 just because of the extremely high prices of the concession stands. A pop is $7 alone. Save money and eat before you arrive to a game or do what everyone else does and have a tailgate party in the parking lot
There are plenty of seats, everything is available, and it’s clean. The staff is excellent. The downside for me is that there is no non-alcoholic beer or hot drinks coffee, tea, which is very much lacking in cold weather.
Went to my first game there, even the lowest priced seats were awesome. Definitely recommend
My family and I went here to attend the Stampeders Fan Fest. We had a lot of fun, especially the kids who enjoyed the bouncy castles. We also had the chance to meet the players and coach Dave, and we even had the opportunity to have photographs with them and grab their autographs.nGo Stamps go!
