Best coney dog in town hands down! George and his staff are fantastic always a great experience always fresh food and iconic taste with over 50 years of service this small and comfy restaurant is a Thunder Bay classic ! Coney cheese dogs are my personal favourite with a milkshake to wash it down.Recommended dishesHotdogs Hamburger with Coney Sauce

Always loved the Cony dogs but something has changed recently and they are not as good as before. We will try a few more times to see if they improve...but still it is a great placeFood: 3/5

McKellar Confectionary is apparently a Thunder Bay staple. I've never been - so I had to try this as soon as I found out about it. 2x Coney Island style hot dogs, onion rings and a pop. D-lishus.

Went to HS @ FWCI in the early to mid nineties.... This place was a lunchtime staple and all these years later it never disappoints.. this is the only place i go for Coney in TBay... It's perfection

Old school local food beloved by many locals. Not 100% my food but I still enjoy it everytime. It's Thunder Bay history. Soft bun hot dogs and burgers. If your here in Tbay must try.

Have lived in Tbay for a year now but this is my first time trying a Coney and was surprised with how much I liked it. Also ordered their onion rings and how they cooked it resulted in one of the best ones I’ve had here. So crunchy. I loved it.

I’ve been going to this place since before I was born; and have taken my kids there since before they were born too. It has the GREATEST coney sauce I have ever tasted in the world - be it on the dogs or the cheeseburgers, there has never been a better sauce. It’s a family establishment, with kind service. Same great taste, found nowhere else in the world! Try to get a “double, double” two fully loaded dogs and two fully loaded cheeseburgers.

I love the feel of this place. It's like your grandma's kitchen. My bf had grown up here, but it was my first time visiting Thunder bay. I can see why this a staple when you visit. The food was pure home cooked comfort food goodness. Price was good to boot. Check the hours of operation before going because the first time we went they were closed, but it was worth a second trip.
