This is one of the worst locations of McDonald’s in the Durham area. I forgave them for past mistakes such as missing items on our orders or sometimes employee rudeness. But today’s issue I definitely cannot let pass. I ordered 3 cheeseburgers through the App. One of the cheeseburgers was literally covered in black pepper, it ended up being inedible!! It was as if the person who prepared it dropped his pepper shaker on it but didn’t bother to clean it up or give a new patty. This is a health issue and could cause the customer gastrointestinal issues. I can’t even get a refund unless I go back to the restaurant which is a waste of time and honestly I feel is just a deterrent tactic. Do better on training your employees!!
I had such a great experience at McDonald’s thanks to one of the employees! The young lightskin man working at the window went out of his way to help me figure out how to use the McDonald’s app, and he was incredibly patient and kind the whole time. He explained everything clearly, made sure I understood how to access offers and rewards, and didn’t rush me at all. His professionalism and positive attitude really stood out. Customer service like that makes all the difference! He’s a real asset to the team!
We went to this store today, January 15th and the manager told us there is no refill for drinks anymore. We always come at this location but ever since they renovated this place, there is NO refill for drinks anymore when you buy a meal. I can understand if they limit the fountain drink to one refill only but no refill at all is insane. The manager even admit that this is the only restaurant chain that does not do refill.nnEnlightenment me please. Is this really true or the manager is just lying.
I recently visited this McDonald’s and had an overall pleasant experience. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly and attentive, and my order was served promptly. The food was fresh and met my expectations, maintaining the classic taste that McDonald’s is known for. However, I was disappointed with the coffee—it was served cold, which affected my enjoyment of the beverage. I was hoping for a hot, energizing cup to accompany my meal, so this aspect fell short. I have experienced similar at McDonald’s too, so I think its not a problem with this restaurant in specific. Hope they can pay more attention to serving temperatures in the future, but aside from that, it was a good visit.
There was an error in my order today, I was given Nuggets instead of Cheeseburger for my Happy Meal. I went inside to get it exchanged. 1 employee went above and beyond - Rivira. She was absolutely amazing! She showed outstanding leadership qualities, managed multiple customers requests while ensuring I was given my replacement item with fresh fries. She turned my negative experience positive and made my daughter's day. This employee deserves to be recognized!!!
