I frequently stop at this location on my way from Halifax to the rest of the province. They have messed my order up a few times but they're always quick to fix it, just have to make sure you're not on the highway already. Staff are all friendly and helpful. It's a relatively quick McDonald's. Restaurant itself is fine. Kid-friendliness: Happy meals Parking: Parking is a bit tricky, small spots, near drive thru
Usually no issues. Really dislike the awkward drive through and parking though always have. Giving three because staff is usually always nice and I know they are working hard. However hours need to be updated and posted for public. And also maybe do not cut people off when they have been waiting to order for 5 min in the drive through..... I guess the drive through was closing at 9pm???? and a worker walked out at 8:50 and walked past 4 cars, myself included and blocked the drive through so ... We just have been waiting for 5 plus minutes and it's before 9 and you are not going to take the orders because....???? Maybe find a different way of how this is handled? Like putting the milk cartons behind the last car waiting so no others can come but take the cars that have been waiting that were there before close!? Would guest that come inside to order at 845 be told to leave if they were inside waiting on staff to take their order? Just was a bit madding was all.
Went thru the drive thru and the royally messed up my order. Ordered a double quarter pounder combo and just got a single. Order 2 kids meals and 1 with 7 up and 1 with milk. Didn't get the milk and seven up was gross watered down coke same as large coke ordered. I also asked for receipt and was told it would be in the bag but not receipt was given. We were on our way back to PEI and didn't have time to go back and complain.
I go in and order for take out order 2 apple pies, a medium root beer, and a mcflurry. 10 minutes after I ordered I noticed there were no apple pots and asked if they were doing any more and it turns out they were out and I got a refund 12 minutes after I placed my order. 6 more minutes go by and I ask to a cup to get my drink and ask about my flurry which I got right away. In total for a pop and flurry it took 16 minutes. The location is greatly under staffed with and had one person running food for both counter and drive through, no one really on counter, and no one to clean so the whole front counter and drink area was a bit of a mess. Management clearly needs to do better.
Place was really dirty, especially the fountain station. It had no ice either Didn't wait long for food for a change, but someone put my poutine in the bag on its side and the gravy leaked everywhere.Food: 4/5
We spent 25 mins in an average length drive thru line, upon unwrapping our burgers when we left, all 4 were wrong. No answer at phone. Doors to dining are locked. So we spent 50minutes in line to have our order corrected, to get another messed up order. Will never be back to this location. They blamed the mess ups on their staff being "all trainees" I personally am very dissatisfied
Worst fast food establishment experience in my life. 30 minute wait for food, watched my food sit 10-15 minutes before it was served to me, things missing from order, told if I wanted refund they had to take my food that I had already waited 30 minutes for. Food ended up being cold and disgusting, staff had excuses for all of this. Will be contacting corporate first thing Monday morning.
Good French fries as always but drive thru is somewhat narrow compared to other McD-s
I ordered 2 big Mac meals and 20 pack chicken nuggets. Got home and was missing a big Mac. Went back and let them know I was missing the big Mac from my order. I was polite and respectful. They told me that they couldn't give me it although I paid for it?!and took my name and number down saying someone would call me. Still waiting for that call. From now on I will sit and check my order before I leave the window. I will no longer pull ahead and wait for any order either. Very disappointed with how they handled this.
This is a very nice McDonald's. The staff is friendly at someone is quite efficient and highly comfortable. There are bench seating booth on the s which are simply wonderful
