Great spot to be slightly away from hectic traffic, except for the people launching their boats in the water. But that is a little bonus of a show when sitting in the nice peninsular picnic area. Come here every summer. Free parking as of Feb 2021 if you just have a car and no trailer.

Had such a fun time taking my girl here. Had forgotten about how great it is. Spent some good time on a walk and on a trail through the bush don't be stationary, there's a lot of ant activity right now, not sure if fire ants, then found a log to sit on and read a book. Lots of passerby dogs gave me nose kisses and hellos.
Best place for pups to meet friends and play. many new toys found, and some great quality chewing sticks, prime rolling sand for destroying owners car so bring towels!!
Great place and a nice beach. Has been expanded so there is a nice seawall. It if dog off leash area so u will have dogs running all around as some owners don't like to control their dogs. Can be a nuisance.
