McCarthy Garden Chinese Food

Please tell me the difference between chicken chop suey and chicken chow mein- when you order chicken chow mein you expect noodles right ? Instead i got chicken chop suey with fried toritilla strips ??? The description makes no sense chow mein is noodles- you should prob fix that

The food is very good. Iv only been to this place 4 times in the last week and a half and I love it. I always get the combo B. And you get a ton of food for a bargain!, you wont be disappointed. The eggs rolls are hand made and the chicken balls are larger than what most Chinese restaurants give and are very yummy.

We love the food and service at McCarthy Gardens. We have been customers for years. We love the hot and sour soup, chicken balls, special fried rice and Shanghai noodles. Everything is always hot and fresh. We have never been disappointed.

I was fairly disappointed in the quality of food. The lemon chicken was obviously a frozen mechanically-separated chicken patty like the kind you find in bulk at Superstore cut up into strips. Not a real chicken filet. The ginger beef was stringy and dry. And there was Superstore-style frozen veggies put into the fried rice, rather than fresh veggies. I found the tell-tale Lima beans in it from the "California-style" frozen veggies in the frozen food isle. The building I picked up from was in total disarray... Very dive and dirty looking. Overall, there are LOTS of fantastic Chinese food joints in this city... But this is not one of them.

Terrible food. Special fried rice was crunchy with frozen bagged mixed veggies. The kind that has lima beans in it. Chicken soi guy was flat with a shake and bake type coating. Almods were slightly burnt. Order was incomplete and we had to wait a second time for it to arrive. All in all I will never order from here again

Food was good, but did not get what I expected. Ordered chicken chow mein and received chicken chop suey with crispy fried wonton on top. Called to suggest maybe the order was screwed up, and was informed that that is their chow mein and if I wanted noodles I should have ordered lo mein. Really disappointed. Food was good other wise, but I just prefer chow mein noodles, and proper representation on the menu.

This is my go-to place for Chinese food. Just delicious and dependable. Note there is no option to dine in; pickup or delivery only. Their chow mein is distinct and not noodle based, and it's amazing. Whatever we've tried has been excellent. Of particular note is the Imperial Beef, chow mein, and anything with lots of vegetables as the core like beef and broccoli, for example. So good.

Quite possibly worst delivered food I have had. Undercooked noodles, overcooked vegies and meat, greasy beyond belief, and way to much low quality soya sauce used as cover up flavouring. Much of the food tasted like a salt lick. Egg roles were good.

Fantastic food service was great super friendly. We live an hour out of city could hardley wait to get home to eat!!!

Fast, amazing service and great pricing!! I can't believe how much food we got for the amount we paid! 10/10 we will be coming back!!
