Ended up going for trivia night tonight. The staff and food were both great! Our table shared the spinach & artichoke dip which came with garlic grilled cheese to dip super win & zucchini fries which were also 2 thumbs up. I got the BLT meal- bacon was crispy, greens were fresh, and bread was also toasted garlic bread so no complaints there. Ordered a side of sweet potato fries and got regular fried instead but wasn't worth mentioning for me. Great to see local places fill up, especially on a week night. Keep it up guys, I'll be back for sure
Troy is a beautiful town, has its atmosphere. Visited this pub on my short trip with friends. Service is very polite and not disturbing at all. Food and drinks are just what you’d expect in Irish pub. Loved the place
I’ve been going here since this place was Finnbar’s Pub, and it’s retained the same look and feel all these years. Really appreciate the outdoor patio seating during the summer months! Trivia nights are a must attend!Recommended dishesMac and Cheese
Nice old pub feel. Lots of draft on tap. I had pasta in a light cream sauce. It was very good. Good place to stop in for a quick bite and a beer.Food: 5/5
Went in and ordered their Mac and cheese along with their chicken ranch quesadilla. My quesadilla was amazing but my partner's Mac and cheese had not one but 3 pieces of hair in it. There were brown n definitely not "really cheesey " pieces as they tried to tell us.Food: 2/5
Check your credit card statement! Reviewed mine after visiting and the bartender/server changed the tip I authorized to make it a higher amount! Shady. And illegal. Never in my life have I experienced this. First time patron, will never be back.

Order mac and cheese with the chicken bacon and ranch qeusdilla paid over 30 something dollars the mac and cheese was poorly made it look like just a spoon full of nothing I expected better if I'm paying 14 dollars
Quite the find! A neighborhood Irish pub in a big little city. Don't be fooled by the front door and windows revealing only the bar area. There are a number of downstairs dining areas and more rooms upstairs. On this Wednesday night the restaurant was packed. It was also Trivia Night in the pub. The Bangers and Mash was great and the atmosphere in the pub was as local as could be. Most knew and we're known by the staff. Lots of fun had by all. Don't miss this one!
