Story

Maze N’Games est un centre d’amusement, situé à deux pas du carrefour Laval, dédié aux jeunes de 8 ans et plus qui offre 12 500 pi2 d’espace de jeux pour les jeunes. Nous avons un parcours aérien à 10 pieds du sol avec 5 plateformes colorées et reliées par des ponts. Nous avons aussi une arène de laser tag sombre et fluorescente ainsi qu’une salle de jeux vidéo et plusieurs jeux sur table. Le tout a été pensé pour permettre une expérience unique qui permet à chaque jeune de trouver l’activité qui lui convient. Du plaisir garanti entre amis ou en groupe.

We had a birthday party here over the weekend for a 7 year old. We bought a Groupon package for 11 kids. Turned out to be a blast!!! All the kids really enjoyed it. We did 2 rounds of laser tag and the suspended rope maze. A success… After reading other reviews, to be honest, we were terrified. None of the problems mention were issues with us. The place was packed and we had our laser tag round at the end of the day and no issues with the suits. As for the food, we had let them know before our date what we wanted and the food was in the room, hot, waiting for us at the time requested. We even added 2 pizzas when we showed up and no issue. Yes, they are busy, but if you are organised, they will follow suit… once again, no issue with the kitchen. If anything, the kitchen people are working no-stop. Hats off to them. One thing I found to be very good, they have a video game area free to use. Our kids and some parents were hanging out there too. The one bad thing is that since they are usually busy and that clients, like myself, tend to ask lots of questions, it is hard to get through to speak to someone right away via telephone. They do care about their clients and they do call you back. Sometimes the next day. We found emails to be best after the initial contact. It is a family owned and operated business with the owner behind the counter. All very nice, warm and welcoming people. Overall, It was a great bang for your buck and we will 100% come back to spend an afternoon here.
Bought a package for my son’s birthday here. When purchased we specifically asked if any promotion would be available soon on Groupon or Tuangowe would have waited, Manager Maureen clearly told me no. Two weeks later that we put down the deposits, guess what, a promo is available and she refuses to adjust our reservation! Unbelievable... It feels that I was taken hostage of my deposit and the party, and they just want every penny from your pocket no matter what. The staffs were good with kids but it feels the place is badly managed, lack of professionalism and customer service. It doesn’t feel right to have a bitter taste in the mouth after a happy birthday party. Just want to share my experience so everyone is aware.
If there were "0" stars available for the rating I would choose it; We bought a birthday package for our son last year; the place was really dirty left over balloons in our pre-reserved room from parties weeks before, as the helium balloons had very little air left, which takes a few weeks, there was garbage everywhere on the premises; there was no service whatsoever, took an hour before finally receiving coffee although we were the only ones there; no one seemed to know what to do, very disorganized ; we had many lasertag sessions planned out and when we inquired about it, we found out that our son's name was scratched out and replaced with others' names; not to mention that there was a lot of garbage around on the floor, place did not look to have been vacuumed for many weeks; I had previously asked to have loot bags for participants and they completely forgot about them; they took 2 hours to prepare them for 6 kids and were only ready after the party was finished and 80 percent of participants had already left the party; I made a complaint to the owner and her answer was: "what can I do about it??"; Needless to say, NEVER going back to that place again! There are much better places to go to for lasertag!!!! We just had another b-day this year for our son in the West Island where lasertag and trampoline as well as other activities were included and we had outstanding service and wonderful experience...so please do your research; maze n'games is NOT the place for you if you want great service, great experience Andrew truly your money's worth! Beware!
First time at the venue. Hosted my son's 7th bday. Although the kids had a good time, as a the one forking the bill I'm not entirely satisfied for amount paid vs quality of the experience. My party reservation was at 2pm and soon booking I was advised that everyone should arrive 15 mins earlier to lend time for signing the waivers. It was now 155 still no mention of waivers except I was told by the head person there that as long as I had all the telephone numbers of the children's parents no need to fill out each paper. it is now 2pm still no one helping us to start the party activities. It is now 2:08 we are starting to get harnessed in. We didn't start the rope thing until well after 2:15. That's over 1/2 hr AFTER I had all my guests arrive. 1/2 +hr of waiting around which chewed into the kids playtime Ropes only lasted 25mins. I get it, they need to give time to harness/ unharness the kids. Then alot extra time. Start that at 145 so we can actually start activities on time. The young lady who assisted us for the laser tag was a gem. Very sweet, and patient with the kids. Unfortunately it seemed that she was all alone manning that activity. So as inspected anytime your laser gun or vest poses problems come back to the start place and shr will reset it. Unfortunately on a few occasions she wasn't t her post when the kids came back to ask for help. They stood idle until her return. There's a definite need for more staff during busier bday times . The laser tag only lasted about 25 mins too. So overall I feel jipped that I did not get 1 FULL hour of activities. The 2 bowls of chips was a little sad in the sence that for the cost of the party I think they can afford 2 large bags of chips. The bowls were barely at half full . We had 2 pitchers of juice as promised but No water. The kids were hot and thirsty from their laser tag chasing each other If you opt for food get more. They are squared pizzas cut into 4. They aren't regular slices. Our party was still hungry. If there are any allergies they do try to accommodate. I appreciated that. I truly believe that if there was more staff dedicated to ensure theres a better flow, and ensure that the reserved parties are well taken care of it might of been better. The price you pay for less than 1 hr of playtime does not seem right. On top of that be ready to bring money for the games arcade A bonus would be to offer the groups 1 free game of their choice. It's a great concept, great for kids who want to do something challenging and burn that energy but it could use some refining.
Attenton: unauthorized credit card charges No complaints&comments from the administrator when we paid the bill at the checkout... 4 days after the Anti customer-oriented management charged unauthorized amount 15% from bill plus. I paid 522 cad for 13 boys gold package includes food&drinks Children aren't allowed to drink water. There is no water tap & cooler for kids She penalize our group 75 cad for opening our 6 own 200ml water bottles with admin permission. I'm not recommend this place.
Had my daughters birthday thru a Groupon deal. They don't tell you that your room for the meal is in what they call the lounge! Its in the open room with the rope course, kids are playing, boucing balls, kicking balls and not one employee around to supervise that area. Atleast put up a divider so others can enjoy there party without worrying about getting hit by balls flying everywhere! If we needed someone, they were all in the back room at the the front entrance. Overpriced ... home made pita pizza 10$ for 4 slices? Practically made for 1 person. No water fountains for kids to drink which obliges people to pay to drink or be parched. Also had a charge on my card and to no avail, no call back or reply to my emails to tell me what its for. We paid everything that was due on that day with debit. We followed everyone of their rules.. After service non-existant, shame... it could be a lot better. But doesn't look like anyone cares. The reviews add up... Luckily the kids had fun, but I won't spend money here or recommend it to anyone.
Had my sons birthday. Horrible service. Staff was hard to find. Consoles didn't work. Spoke to manager said she was going to call me back never did. Left message still waiting. FYI bathrooms were filthy we got the private room late, rushed kids to eat and open gifts. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!! I have called the manager SEVERAL TIMES. She does not return my calls
If not for the actual Laser tag, I would have given this place 1 star at best. Some decent staff members but most seem uninterested and unpleasant. If you hate your job, work somewhere else. Bathrooms smell like death. Would not recommend.
Had a fun birthday party party with my nephews here. The place is a bit sparse and a few of the games were out of order, but the laser tag was fun and there's a pool table available for the adults. Friendly staff.
