Unique experience. Not fancy, small family owned place with 5 tables. You feel like you entering into someone's kitchen, and hosts will prepare food for you. The food is delicious and very fast. Hosts are amazingly friendly and always ready for jokes. If you do not mind food smelling clothes after and you do not look anything fancy, just good food, this is the place worth your visit.
Very polite and very attentive people, exceptional service and delicious food. The meat and chorizo tacos are delicious and the ones with the nachos will leave your plate clean. Good atmosphere and background music to enjoy this restaurant
I wish I could give 7 stars. What an experience. We were greeted with an exceptional smile. The owner told us stories and made us smile. The cooks were amazing. Both had huge smiles and were happy to prepare our lunch. We asked what there options were for vegetarian and he said “everything” with such an open heart. We just left one of the main attractions in BC and this place topped off our day. So grateful to find this little JEM. Also, tons of parking. We are from Edmonton, but we will return!!
Don Juan has created a “little Mexico” inside this amazing restaurant. The music and decor transport you directly to Mazatlán and the food completes your journey! We tried the Enmoladas, nopal salad, queso fundido, pork tacos which are cochinita pibil style and tortilla soup. Amazing authentic Mexican food!!! We will be back every time we visit Abbotsford. A must try!
A semi hidden family operated gem, more authentic Mexican food and we were welcomed with music from the speakers outside as we walked in. Very friendly owner I think he's the owner took our order. We got a margarita, nachos borrachos, burrito, chimichanga, and pork tacos. We were served starter homemade tortilla chips with some spicy salsa sauce. The atmosphere is fun, family feel, like they'd sit down and eat your dinner with you. I love the clay plates, telenovelas were on the tv. Personally the chips were too salty but I enjoyed them. Simple ingredients, rice was fluffy. I found some of the food to be lacking in seasoning/fresh quality but it could just be my preferences. Portions are decently sized, the food came out quick. Kid friendly. Needs a bit of a spring clean up but we had a good time. Come try this cute little spot out
Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in Canada. The restaurant is family run with excellent service and good portions. It’s tucked away in an industrial area but look for the big Mexican flag. I will most definitely be back againRecommended dishesBurrito
This place is unbelievable! 100% Mexican experience! Even the waitress Juan give is the experience with his sarcasm. Tasty and deliciousFood: 5/5
I was around the area and said, let look what google have to me, and wow this places is down two earth and so unique. Is what Mexican food should Be all about. Simple but full of flavour. The service was very nice and the menu cover every corner at the Mexican repertoire. Food was a bit spicy, but was great and I will totally come back and recommend
Treat yourself. Everything is excellent but get the fajitas if you want to make everyone jealous.
