Maynooth General Store is the hub of Maynooth. They carry a wide variety of day to day items souvenirs and novelties. Did some shopping at the Maynooth General Store Nov 2017 bought a coat of my dreams. Don't forget the dutch cookies. The Battenbergs and Butter Almond Speculaas are worth every penny. Try them and you will know why the Dutch are always smiling.. Thank you Carla 😀

Great eclectic store with all the basics and lots of interesting gifts. Very helpful staff. Could maybe open earlier in the morning.

Fabulous old style general store with creaky wooden floors, foods, toys, candies, clothing, and even furs. Friendly stay person on duty June 14/17. Worth the visit and experience.

My wife and I have been going to the area for over 30 years now, and have seen the different owners come and go. The newest owner (Christine) has been just super and is not only friendly, but caters to her customer's needs. If she doesn't have what you want she'll try to get it in for next time. She knows most if not all of the locals, and is up on the "events" happening around the area. She is an excellent resource, and is a draw for the locals as more and more cottagers are making the choice to move to the area full time. Many Thanks
