My new favourite theatre. From the outside it looks like many small city theatres, kinda crappy … Then you go in, order your tickets and your popcorn … inside the theatre they have these awesome electric reclining chairs. I’ve never been to a theatre like that before. We took our youngest son to his first movie here The Minecraft Movie … whenever there’s a movie that fits his viewing we will be going. Five stars plus and we will visit again. The last time I watched a movie in a theatre was in Edmonton and I’m sure the price for tickets and refreshments there was twice what it was here.
I'm in Lloydminster overnight before going to Edmonton for a work project. I decided to go catch a movie while in town, which I often do when I'm traveling. I like theaters and movies. This is a nice theater and the staff is friendly. They gave me the inside scoop on where to sit and it was great a great seat, new recliner! The popcorn and pop were great. The manager was super nice and we talked for a bit while I was waiting to enter the theater. The movie quality and sound is great. In really happy I decided to spend some time here to catch a movie...
Seats so nice you can sleep in them if the movie sucks. Popcorn is salty, get a drink. $10 ain’t bad for a ticket these days.
Quite impressive for being located in a relatively small town. Nice cushy totally cumfy lazy boy like chairs and super wide Isles. Replace the blown front speakers for a fifth star.
My comment is directed to the original May theater at50 Ave.nThe Alamo, North to Alaska and The Miracle. 1961n25 cents went a long way back then . Admission, soda and popcorn.nThank you.
