If you're looking for a pet-friendly restaurant with great service and ambiance, Max's Grill is the perfect choice. The food and drinks were good, but what really set this restaurant apart was the exceptional service and cozy atmosphere. One of the things that really impressed me about Max's Grill was their commitment to pet owners. They have a special menu for dogs and other furry friends, which is a unique and thoughtful touch that you don't see very often. It's clear that this restaurant truly cares about its customers, both human and animal. In addition to the pet-friendly aspect of Max's Grill, the live music added to the overall ambiance of the place. The musicians were talented and the music was well-suited to the atmosphere of the restaurant.
I am giving this 3 stars because of the portion size and the pricing. It was pretty expensive for not so much food and wasn’t the best food. I would honestly rather go to a local American bar where you get a lot more food and it’s not as expensive and the food is honestly just better. This place was also so busy. It does have a nice atmosphere and outdoor seating which is a plus and it’s in a nice area. The burger was good but nothing special at all.
Always a consistent meal - recommend the happy hour for a great feel of paradise in Mizner Park. Salmon is great. Burger is good too and good options for happy hour menu. Upscale dining inside and plenty of outdoor seating.
Definitely an institution since it is one of the only original businesses in Mizner Park, almost 30 years. Always very good food and serve. Our server Teshua was super, very attentive. I had the CRISPY PORK CHOP & PEACHES ,12oz crispy pork chop, peach and bourbon mostardo, roasted asparagus, and candied pecans. Very good and different. My wife tried THE GRILLE BURGER, a prime steak beef blend burger, lettuce, tomato, onion and house pickles, on a challah bun with French fries. Always very good. Great setting with lots of outside seating.
Busy and great place for lunch or dinner within the nice Mizner park area. They can accomodate people pretty quick. There are no freebies like bread as entrance. Their tomato bisquet is made with heavy cream, not much of actual tomato. I would favor a classic tomato soup. Their rainbow trout is really good as well as their chicken risotto with mushroom. The place is gorgeous and you could make a good impression on a night out. The side bar is always busy. Fun place to be around. Features: No Covid restrictions
We were outside for lunch, a little noisy. But a lovely day. Delicious choices. Dessert recommended by our waiter was amazing!! See picture of mixed berry creme brulee. Different from anything ever had before. Must share!!!Food: 5/5
3/17/22-G had the Grill Burger. It was hugh, nice slice of ripe tomato, pickles sliced thin and ff. I had the Lunch special which comes w/ soup or salad’s . 1:2 Salmon Quesadilla hugh. The best was the wrap had a nice crunch to it, ou can see it hit the grill . Soup of day was Cauliflower soup it was very good. Our outside bartender was full of information Kyle. Very helpful with the menu items.
First time in the area and had a phenomenal dinner that exceeded all my expectations, even though a friend recommended it. From the best brussel sprouts I ever had wanted to swim in the sauce, to the delicious Mongolian salmon salad couldn’t stop eating it in until I forced myself to stop before I exploded, to the perfect ending with their RIDICULOUS crème brûlée pie couldn’t leave without trying it. Just an amazing meal from start to finish, and that’s rare to find these days. Can’t wait to be back and try other things on the menu. Also our server was amazing, I wish I remembered her name dark hair, pony tail. A great server like her just enhances the whole experience
We went last night to Max’s with my husband and two children. The food was excellent, and our server Michael was excellent! We ordered sushi for an appetizer and it was delicious, for our entrees the NY strip steak and the salmon which were delicious. Dessert was the Gooey Peanut Butter Chocolate Brownie Sunday and it was heavenly. Michael was extremely attentive, and always gave us refills before we could even ask. Great Easter dinner experience! Kid-friendliness: My son got the kids pizza which was delicious, and Michael made my son a chocolate milk!
If only the meal was as good as the outdoor atmosphere. With out of town guests this is a spot that works for location and varied menu except for the embarrassing food and check totals. We had a reservation but were told we’d have to wait for an outdoor table. The res specified outdoor. That was the 1st bump. We took matters in our own hands and got set up at a hi top at the bar by the very hospitable bartender. Ordered wine by the glass. Two trout dinners were below average- dry skinny piece of not so tasty fish. One salmon dinner also below average. Did not even look appetizing. Burger served on a crushed roll. Was this the kitchen b team? Really disappointing. The prices are luxury but the food was below average. Will stick to better restaurants. Felt ripped off.
