Maurya East Indian Roti
"Maurya East Indian Roti serves rotis from North and South India. This Indian restaurant has been at the heart of Toronto for several years and is considered by many to be the best place for Indian roti in the neighborhood and perhaps the city – our guests can often be found traveling from out of the area to feed their craving for our rotis. We look forward to seeing you for lunch, dinner or take out soon!"

I had the pleasure of dining at this Indian restaurant recently and I must say, it was an amazing experience. The food was simply outstanding and left me wanting more. I ordered the chicken wings, mutton curry, paneer tikka masala and the rumali roti, and I can honestly say that each dish was cooked to perfection. The chicken wings were crispy and succulent, with just the right amount of spice. The mutton curry was so flavorful and tender, it practically melted in my mouth. The paneer tikka masala was creamy and rich, with the perfect blend of spices. And the rumali roti was simply divine - light, fluffy, and perfectly cooked. The service at the restaurant was also exceptional. The staff were friendly and attentive, and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Overall, I highly recommend this Indian restaurant to anyone looking for amazing food and a wonderful dining experience. I will definitely be visiting again soon!
Visited this place on my trip to 'Liberty village' for some Indian food and liked it! The service was very fast and pleasant Ordered butter chicken with some garlic roti and enjoyed it!! The place was clean and prices are reasonable Definitely going back to try their Samosa and Honey Garlic mushrooms Recommend it!
The atmosphere of the restaurant and their customer service is really good. There are so many menu options to choose from but my favourite is the chicken tikka and chicken korma. Always a pleasure visiting this place!!!
Had to go in and check out because they smell really really nice! Ordered butter chicken poutine for a night snacking and it was a great choice. Fast friendly service and good food.
I went there with my friends for dinner, the food taste amazing with ample portions. The taste is like india and we enjoyed a lotFood: 5/5
I went for dine in with my friend and I had butter chicken, paneer makhani and plain roti. Food was authentic and fresh, also the customer service was really amazing. Highly recommended.
Food: I ordered Dal Makhani and Garlic Roti. The taste was good. Service: Pathetic service of the restaurant. When I walked in the restaurant was empty. After taking my seat, I waited for sometime and no one offered water or even asked for my order. When I went to give my order, the staff was on phone. I gave my order and before giving me food they asked for payment. I asked do I have to pay before eating? She said it’s ok to pay afterwards. I have a habit of adding lemon in my all my dishes. Asked for one and they said it’s not available. First time I have ever seen that in an Indian restaurant they don’t have lemon.
I came here for dinner with my family and had the best lip smacking food here. Will come here often now
This is the best Indian food in Liberty Village. They are always busy with take outs and deliveries, so plan ahead if you want to order and eat in the restaurant. The food is great! The same owners own "Mother India" on Queen West and Lansdowne, which is the best Indian food in West Toronto. The place is very clean and the staff are very polite and efficient. Have in mind during rush hour they are very, very busy so either order ahead or if dining in - allow ample time for. And no, they don't have a 'lemon' to go with your food : I've never been to an Indian place that offers lemon with their food, like the weird guy with the one star review below wanted.
Was attending an event nearby and noticed this little spot. I was a little sceptical about the quality of the food but ended up going anyway. The food is very flavourful and tasty! The rotis are nice and light yet delicious. The curries have all of the great spices and I was very impressed! The staff was very friendly and professional.
