Matter of Taste

I have nothing but good things to say about Matter or Taste Coffee! I ordered a Masala chai latte and butter tart. Both were delicious possibly one of the best butter tarts I’ve had in a long time the staff was friendly and helpful

Always nice to stop by if I'm in the area. Nice interior, chill outside patio. Great for hot or cold days.

The baristas are really sweet and the menu options are amazing. I especially like the atmosphere, lots of outlets and bright natural night from the window makes this place ideal to get some study/work done. They do charge a fee if your bill is <$5 and you pay with a credit card though, but I find that to be common anyways.

Baristas are always super friendly and the various treats especially gelato in the summer! are always great. The space is quite small but well located - great for a stop on a day in downtown Kitchener.

I come here to get my espresso beans! Their traveller blend is perfect for having just straight shots or making milk drinks. I also love their gelato in the summer! Check it out as it has been an independent coffee shop staple of Kitchener for so long!

The people here have serious coffee expertise and don't need to rely on tricks, gimmicks and jargon to demonstrate it. Their beans are my daily brew at home and I don't see that changing any time soon.
