Mattawa River Resort

It was probably the coldest week of the year, but we had a great stay. The cottage was rustic, but the view was amazing. I would recommend this resort to people looking for a relaxing stay, in the bush, along the Mattawa River. There were some minor things that the staff cold have done, but we are pretty self sufficient. It would have been nice to have a fire going in the cabin upon arrival as it was the coldest week of the year and it took hours to warm the place up. Also, garbage bags in the cabin would have been great. The beds were comfortable, the washroom was clean, and we really enjoyed the location. We will happily return.

Amazing resort and even better people working here. We booked a large group last minute, and they were so amazing at accommodating us. We also got to try the restaurant out early, and it was spectacular. Can't wait to come back!

Our stay at Mattawa River Resort was absolutely fantastic! Great service, great food, beautiful location and very nice cabins. We will probably come again in September. Highly recommended!

Beautiful place. Great food being served at their new The Cardinal restaurant!! Great service, reasonable prices and beautiful atmosphere. Road to get to the restaurant is a bit rough but they're working on it.

Absolutely stunning resort - the rooms and cabins are well appointed, the location is amazing, and the restaurant is going to be legendary.
