Well I'm giving it two stars. Only because two drafts and two shots cost me thirty bucks. I came in, ordered a beer and shot, laid a twenty on the bar and it magically disappeared. No one came near me but the bartender. When I ordered the next round she asked for money and I said nicely, darlin I never received my change from my twenty. She said I never rang up the first round. Well I walked in with $255. And I'm walking out with $225.  For two bud light drafts and two shots. No I'm not tipping.

Matt is a master chef. He has delicious food and they have a new outdoor patio. I would highly recommend this place.

Wonderful place for visiting and meeting folks. I would recommend it for any people visiting Grinnell College. Parents, family....just a great place to have a beer or soda and lots of tv's with sports on.

When trying out a local bar when your from out of town sometimes turns out to be dissapointing, bartender who wont hold a conversation, people stare at you and do not even smile.  NOT here!!  The bartender Daryland was extremely welcoming, attentive and help me with some local in formation. Patrons also were friendly and welcoming. Pizza wasnt bad either. Heading back Tuesday for taco night.
