Matsukaze Japanese Restaurant

The family and I were on the road and wanted something besides fast food. We stopped here and everything was incredible and the staff was delightful! We got a variety of appetizers and main dishes, all of which was fresh and super delicious. There wasn't a huge variety of sushi but it's understandable given it's location, and I can't fault them for it. That said we did get a California roll and it was great, I may just get a couple orders of that next time ;) This is now going to be our new stop any time we head by Grant's Pass.

Rating this three stars just to leave this disclaimer: We stopped here for sushi because it's one of the options that comes up when you Google "sushi grants pass." Misleading. They only have three sushi rolls and they are on the appetizer menu. A Philly, a Cali and a veggie roll, I think. Also, they do have beer and wine but no liquor. Just a heads up to the sushi and cocktail lovers you will be disappointed. .

Not the place I’d go to for sushi, but definitely the place I’d go to for some delicious Japanese food and good ambiance.
