Amazing services at this centre for families, younger and older adults.nSupportive staff and very clean facility.nnHappy I enrolled my little one here for dance classes.
The pool itself is a fun and well designed place. The temperature of the pools are great, but I would've preferred the hot tub a bit hotter. That might be a personal preference though. The life guards are serious about their rules and safety. Take that how you will.
Are you serious? You think people who pay for monthly pass are FOOLS? I paid for monthly pass so that I can come and swim for 45 mins to an hour after my work and relax. When I reached there after my work, the pool is occupied by swimming classes. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Atleast let people know about it at the time of monthly pass purchase. Try to Know people’s needs when they are purchasing a pass. ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY.
Each time we come to this pool family 2 adults and 2 teenagers they always charge full price and have most of the pool blocked off for swimming lessons ! This is not ok ! They don’t tell you upon entry and they don’t give you a discount even though you can’t use the deep end or most of the pool. You get In and 10 mins later they are kicking you out of all the areas and putting yo signs. I stopped going for this reason as it’s a waste of money !!!! Today being part of spring break I assumed it would be better and more for the public , I was so wrong ! We even went early to try to have some pool that we paid for. 7 am - 10 am. They had the pool cut off for all the seniors in deep end from 7-815 am plus all the lines and shallow end. We were able to be in the baby pool and the steam room and Shauna and hot tub which again were over helmed with seniors. After my daughter asked twice to use the driving board, they allowed us to use it for 20 mins then closed it and kicked us out for the seniors again. So from 8:35am -10 am. Again no pools and signs up on each pool for swimming lessons. Durning that whole time they also refused to use the waves !This pool is a rip off specially durning spring break hense why we didn’t buy passes for spring break or the year not impressed! Terrible pool. I first found this pool in 1998 and it was fun, not taken over by lessons and of course much cheaper. I’m glad they are renovating it and hopefully when it’s done they will have a real public swimming pool!!!!!!!
This was my first time at this rec center, but I'm sure we will be back.nnSadly our trip here wasn't as relaxing as we'd hoped to have. No fault of the center at all, but it appears the nearby middle school uses the pool for part of its classes, so warning if your looking to relax during weekday school hours may not be a great time.nnThe pool area was filled with pre-teen screaming children for around an hour and a half throwing balls and pool toys all over the place and just really being kids.... but a lot of them, hahaha, so if you are not a kid person or like things a bit quieter, probably early morning or later in the afternoons or evening during the week is better.nnThey have all the standard rec center amenities pool, hot tubs, even a lukewarm children's hottub suitable for infants with parents, steamroom and sauna and of course a well stocked fitness room with a area sectioned off for ladies only should you prefer that.nnThe family change room features a private shower area and locking door for privacy. There are plenty of lockers for .25 and even smaller lockers in the main lobby right by the reception area for storing cellphones, wallets, and other valuables.
