I chose to use Matrix Moving for a couple of reasons. The main reason was because I like to support smaller local businesses. I also knew Cam from many years ago and I was happy with the service he provided in the past. This last move was a disaster. Cam was not part of the moving team to give direction and oversee the level of service being given to the paying customer. At the end of the day which was stressful for all, the lead hand was yelling profanities at me, telling me to get the “F” off my phone. Unfortunately, I had no option but to answer a work-related call on my moving day. This man was stomping heavily all over the wood floors of my newly constructed house while the other workers insisted on removing their shoes. If that wasn’t enough, the following day I noticed that almost every single piece of furniture including lamps and boxes of antique dishes labeled “fragile” had been damaged. Chunks of wood were missing out of all furniture items except for one. I had contacted Cam to inform him of the disastrous move as well as seek compensation, and he insisted on having the one worker deal with me personally and preferred to stay uninvolved in the matter. I had arranged to meet with this worker 3 times to show him the damage and he never showed up. I was beyond disappointed in hiring this company to move my valuable belongings and will never recommend this company to anyone unless they don’t mind their belongs being destroyed.
Matrix Moving were life savers for our move from Vancouver to the Sunshine Coast. They were professional, prompt, efficient and hard working under difficult moving circumstances hot weather, possibility elevator would not be working, ferry scheduling. Their flexibility meant we were able to schedule a time when elevator would most likely be up and running. They all wore masks and followed Covid safety precautions. They came well prepared with all the right equipment so the move was done in a timely manner, saving us money. Their professionalism and expertise were reassuring, and made this the smoothest move in our lives. We highly recommend Matrix Moving. Thank you Cam and your team!
Cam was friendly, punctual and took care of my goods. For moving or anything else I would not hesitate to trust him with my belongings again.nnThe whole punctual thing was very important to me as there were 2 ferry crossings involved. No problems at either crossing.
Cam and his team are very professional movers. Cam has over 20 years of experience and it shows when it comes to safely loading and unloading your loved possessions.nnCam came out for a home visit and assessment prior to the move to determine the time needed for the move and pricing.nnMy mother was relocating from Halfmoon Bay to Vancouver. Cam and his team came to pack everything up the day before. They were very helpful and took the time to remove lightbulbs and lamp shades from out lighting and store them safely amongst other packing materials.nnThe guys also took apart our more fragile furniture, packed it safely and then put it back together upon arrival at our destination.nnThe next morning they guys took the first ferry over to Vancouver. They were punctual on arrival to the new home and assessed the most efficient and safest entry into the suite.nnCam’s quote was very fairly priced and even though the final cost was slightly more than quoted, I brought this up with Cam and he was able to give me a detailed breakdown and explanation of the charges, which made sense and it was still cheaper than Vancouver prices.nnThe moving team were friendly and helpful, offering to take things down to the storage locker if needed. Cam even offered to help put the pictures on the walls, but it wasn’t needed at the time. That’s thoughtfulness.nnThe guys were very careful with the furniture and bringing things in through tight doorways.nnWhether you are looking to move only a short distance or a very long distance anywhere in BC, choose Cam and his team at ‘Matrix Moving’ from Sechelt on the Sunshine Coast, BC.nnYou will be very happy you chose this company.nnWe highly recommend their services.nnThanks Cam and team!
I sought a reasonably-priced, reliable, and experienced local mover to unload contents from our large storage container in Langley to our new home on the Sunshine Coast. Matrix delivered on all fronts. This move included managing the critical logistical timing issues associated with the ferry. Cam’s estimate and anticipated timing was bang on. The move went like clockwork from my perspective. He updated me throughout the day on his progress and whereabouts, and the move was completed with virtually no issues. Without his expertise I believe the move could have easily been several hours longer. I have no reservations in recommending Cam and Matrix Moving.
