The interior of this place is super cute. It’s a cute hangout spot and a great place to work during the day. The two lattes that I tried from here were really good, and cake was good too. However the prices are a tad bit on the pricier end. I wish it were a bit cheaper, two iced lattes cost me around $22 which I think insane. They were extremely delicious though, but I don’t understand why they charge 1.50 more for an iced drink. If they were a bit on the affordable end, I wouldn’t mind coming here a few times a week to grab drinks. But overall, great drinks, great pastries, and great interior/atmosphere.
Matari Coffee is a nice place to hang out and have a hot beverage. The ambiance is warm and the staff welcoming. Don’t hesitate to ask if you’re unsure about the options as the staff will take the time to describe and suggest the appropriate drink according to your preferences. Do try their pastries as well!Food: 5/5
Such a beautiful Cafe. Decor is on-point and very classy. Enjoyed their coffee and desserts that we tried. It was fresh and extremely delicious. The Yemeni latte I had was so aromatic and just strong enough. I just really enjoyed it. The only reason why I gave a 4* is because they have to do something about the prices. I paid 11$ for a specialty latte, that's a bit much.
Gorgeously designed cafe - very sleek and lots of comfortable seating. We ordered a Yemeni latte iced was $1.50 extra and the honeycomb pastry, which were delicious. I truly loved the service - the cashier walked me thru their menu and even provided a sample of tea to try. I have taken one star off only because it was very expensive - $17 something for two items plus tip. It’s definitely a specialty store but felt pricey.
Excellent place for tea/coffee lovers. Especially when you are looking for specialty tea and coffee when you want something different from coffee chains… Ambience is great and so are their drinks. Very good place to hangout with friends and family. Just like entire plaza, this place is buzzing with people. Might take time to serve your drink however it’s worth the wait. Vegetarian options: More of a place for specialty drinks for vegetarians as all the snacks contains eggs except one item.
What a beautiful café ! From the first impression before stepping in, I could tell I would love the experience. The interiors are beautiful and branding is on point. Matari is definitely my new favourite coffee break. This spot has some unique drinks on the menu and a great selection of desserts/treats to have with your cup of tea/coffee. I love that they're able to modify your drinks based on your preferences. There's quite a lot of options to choose from as well. I really enjoyed the honeycomb and the portion was good to share. It wasn't too sweet but the honey on top was the perfect addition. The drink is served in a beautiful cup and was delicious + worth the wait. Our order was a bit of a long wait despite it not being busy, but it was 100% worth it. Looking forward to coming back!
Mississauga so needed a nice Coffee and Tea Cafe where one can enjoy Yemeni Coffee and sweet treats. It’s the whiff of the coffee that pulls you in and then you are in a trance till your orders arrive. We went on a Monday evening and it was packed. There is quiet a bit of seating but despite that I can expect on weekends there would be no seating. The ambiance and the decor inside is phenomenal. Very tastefully done. Then comes there huge menu of different versions of coffee where I am assuming the coffee beans are fresh ground and they are mixed with different spices like nutmeg, cardamom etc. I saw a lot of carnation milk being used as we were seated right near where they prepare the orders. What I liked about the menu was it tells you what is inside the coffee so you donot get a Surprise after ordering. The honeycomb bread which is topped with honey was so delicious as it has a stuffing of cheese with a hint of saltiness and then the sweetness from the honey. Goes great with the coffee’s Service is a little slow but donot forget each order is prepared fresh and customized to your liking. Price point of view a little high but this is no ordinary coffee and tea place. I did see many Yemeni people in the cafe so it definitely must be authentic! Will definitely be coming back to try more things offered on the menu. Caution: the coffee’s prepared here are extremely hot so as soon as you get it one cannot sip it right away. Just for your information the name Matari is a Mountain region for Coffee in Yemen - Google source Parking: It’s open air parking so you have an option to park a little away and walk too
I’ve tried different types of coffee here and I have good things to say about all of those. The Yemeni latté is my favourite but I gotta say $9+tax is a bit too steep for coffee. My friend liked the honey bread and pistachio cheesecake.
I had a delightful experience at this Yemeni coffee place! My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our order. The Adeni tea was exceptional. It was strong and not too sweet! The staff were really friendly and made the visit even more memorable. They had excellent recommendations as well, and maintained friendly banter. It wasn’t too loud, so we were able to catch up comfortably. The warm and inviting ambiance, combined with the beautiful decor and comfy seating arrangements, added to the overall charm of the place. Highly recommend!
Absolutely amazing coffee and certainly lives up to the expectation of providing a quality coffee experience. Prices for the lattes/iced drinks are a bit through the roof though. I would certainly shy away from the desserts - they are neither fresh nor taste that great. The ambience of the place is great however it's not meant for large gatherings which is understandable for a coffee joint.
