Haven't been to Mastro's since the onset of Covid and so happy to say they haven't lost their edge. Excellent service, well portioned meals at reasonable prices. Food is fresh and outstanding. Rigatoni in meat sauce was excellent. All pizza's were spot on delicious. So happy to be back. Highly recommended!!!

Restaurant which has an authentic Italian taste. Ambience was rustic, traditional and warm. Trattoria atmosphere, so great if dressed up or down, but most people dress a bit nicer here. Excellent service, well portioned meals at reasonable price. Food is fresh and outstanding. We ordered Medley of mushroom - Insalate and La florentina Pizza. Upon request they swapped eggplant with chicken for additional $5. The wait staff was good to work with and were very accommodating and flexible with the ingredients and catering according to our taste. Yup, it's that kind of a feel good neighborhood restaurant, with way better food. Would recommend this spot to anyone who enjoys authentic Italian food!

Visited Mastro Roberto on our wedding anniversary, expecting authentic Italian cuisine. The place seemed legit and I would say dishes were 80-90% authentic which is great. The servers were nice enough to provide recommendations and checked in regularly if we were doing ok with our food. Overall a great 4 star experience.

Great food. The chef is awesome. The atmosphere was intimate, quiet and refreshing when dining in. Definitely would recommend to anyone who wants to celebrate a romantic dinner for two in a cute quiete classy restaurant. This is my absolute new favorite go to restaurant. Also the service was excellent and knowledgeable regarding the food and wine.

Fantastic authentic Italian food and the service was amazing. We had a reservation of 17 people all out of town and everyone said the same - their dish selection was delicious and the portion size was more than what they were expecting. The service 5+ stars. Definitely will be back to eat here if ever in Vaughan again. Grazie! Kid-friendliness: We were a mix of adults, teenagers and kids. There was something on the menu for everyone liking. Parking: Ample parking spaces.

The place is consistently good. It's not pretentious, it's a good slightly upscale Italian place. The calamari is truly the best I've ever had. It melts in your mouth. Not overly expensive. Between 30-40 dollars a head or so.

Really liked this place and used to come here often before the pandemic for delicious Italian food. But not sure what happened to the food quality now. The ossobuco was tasteless and the pizza Margherita looked and tasted like something you would find in pizza pizza. Please improve your food quality

This is a real authentic Italian restaurant that could ever be. From the food, staff, servers and ambiance. I recommend their specials like the Beef ribs and the appetizers, the lamb skewer.Food: 4/5

Enjoyed the first experience. Posrtions are large; calamari was done perfectly, grilled and breaded as was my pasta. Limoncello Tartufo was a perfect end to a delicious meal. Look forward to repeat visit.Food: 5/5

We had an appetizer dinner — grilled calamari, glue free plate size pizza, grilled lamb speducci’s and arugula salad. All were excellent and complemented with exceptional service throughout the meal. Will definitely be a repeat customer.
