Masjid Omar Al-Farooq was established in 2010

Mission

Mission Statement:
To advance, teach, promulgate and preach the
Islamic faith according to the Quran and Sunnah of the Prophet Mohammed (SAW) as understood and practiced by the first four caliphs of Islam and the interpretation that Sahabah, Tabien and their followers gave to these sources and to encourage and aid in the growth, nurture, practice and manifestation of Islam in the lives of Individuals and the community in general.

Excellent place for prayer. Clean and calm. Always recommended to go earlier for Friday prayers, otherwise won’t find space inside the Masjid. It has small place for ablution as well in case you need it.

Quiet atmosphere. Assisting people. Family oriented.

MashaAllah beautiful masjid centrally located near the skytrain station and public transit.

This mosque can be easily reached from commercial station just within 100 m

Good location

Strategically located near commercial drive station convenient place of worship. Well kept.

Love the masjid and it's convenience being in front of the skytrain station. But they gotta do something about the unpleasant odour that you get upon entering the masjid.

Glad to have this place of worship in my neighbourhood. Let's foster a kind, accepting and welcoming vibe for people of all faiths and nationalities in our city. Thank you for being an institution that symbolizes peace for the world. Hope this community we live in continues to support you and your followers.
