My friends and I went to Masjid Darussalam Islamic Society of Toronto for morning prayers, and it was great. The mosque felt really peaceful and welcoming; it was easy to focus on praying. Everything was super clean and well-kept.nnEveryone there was friendly, and you could feel the strong community vibe. Praying that morning in such a calm place was truly inspiring.nnWhat's cool about Masjid Darussalam is that it's more than just a place to pray. After prayers, we even got to play basketball in their gym, which was awesome. Having sports stuff right there at the mosque is a big plus, especially for young people and friends who want to mix faith, fitness, and hanging out.nnI think Masjid Darussalam is one of the best mosques in Toronto for daily prayers, community events, and just connecting with people. If you're in Toronto or just visiting, you should check it out. Big thanks to everyone who helps keep this beautiful mosque going. We're definitely coming back.
Incredible mosque. The interior is absolutely beautiful and fully functional. So much funding has been poured into its reconstruction in all the right places.nnThe prayer area is spacious and comforting with well-padded carpeting, and the wudu and washrooms are so clean! I feel at ease knowing that I can use these facilities without worrying about falling ill. There are so many places to put your coat and shoes down with high-quality closets and seating. And many of the doors have sensors and are made of light material which don't require much effort to open and close. There are also gymnasiums and classrooms for children as well.nnOverall a wonderful mosque, Alhamdulillah. I will definitely come back here for prayers.
New mosque is very beautiful.nLots of parking.nMosque have Gym, class room, kitchen, funeral room and shops.
Alahamdullilah. The infrastructure is truly remarkable and mind-blowing. Seeing this magnificent Masjid makes me feel the blessing of Allah SWT upon this community, and how beautifully they are contributing to Islam. May peace and blessings be upon everyone who played a role in building it, and upon all who have the opportunity to pray here.
While the new masjid is visually stunning, the architecture is quite confusing and lacks practicality—3 stars for the design alone.nnHowever, the new management is a major disappointment. They are incredibly rude and have actually told us not to bring our young children to prayer, claiming they might dirty the carpets. It is unimaginable to be turned away from a house of Allah for such a reason. This masjid belongs to the community that built it, yet we are being made to feel unwelcome. The management should be ashamed of prioritizing carpets over the next generation of worshippers.
