While in town on business with my wife - we came across this little hidden gem of a restaurant. The name "Masala Art" is no mistake, they make authentic Indian cuisine an 'art'!!! unsure of what the various dishes were, we asked the wait staff to make suggestions. We couldn't be more pleased! The tastes, and textures of this food was beyond anything we have ever had at ANY of the much larger chains in the Toronto area!! We purposefully chose more food than we could eat in one sitting - to be sure we could try extra dishes, and to make sure we had leftovers for the next day! It was an absolute delight, and the staff were Great! Thank you for an absolutely fantastic gastric experience! We will undoubtedly be eating here again - next time we come to Mtl!!
The cheese in mango sauce with pistachio was definitely unique and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. All the different chickens I ordered were all tender and soft. The flavours were strong and impactful. Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of those flavours. Regardless, it was still decent and I am sure a lot of people will appreciate the combination of flavours provided by this restaurant more than I did. My favourite part was no doubt the naan bread. Both the natural one and garlic one was great. The bread was soft and chewy, the texture was just on point. On the other hand, the salad was soaked with the sauce and too watery. It was poor in quality in comparison to the rest of their food,
Convenient and clean place. We had an amazing dining experience with delicious food that was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. We enjoyed every bite and can't wait to come back for more. Highly recommended.
This was my first time at their restaurant. Great food and an even bigger menu to select items from! The wait staff was great, very attentive and polite, The food was absolutely amazing and I recommend their Tandoori Chicken and Biriyani.I would love to come back and try new recipes too.
If you are looking for Indian food this is The best choice. It was such good experience with such a good customer service the guy on counter was very polite and calm. I can say Naan was very soft and crispy. More to Add we ordered chicken tikka masala and shahi malai khofta both gravy soup has different taste not like other restaurants where they serve same gravy, here I would like to mention that if they do chkn more soft: would be good for chikne lover. Rest everything was amazing, peacefull environment defentliy will go again.
I would say this place has best Momos, the layer of momos is soft thin that you actually get taste of filling inside not just like others thick maida . The other dish is Mutton Rara which is minced meat in gravy which was good
We group of 5 went to the restaurant on Saturday night to celebrate birthday. Even though the restaurant was full, they tried their best to serve promptly. We really liked the food, service and also the ambience. They even were kind enough to gave a bunch of birthday balloons to keep in our table. 5 stars
An absolutely great experience ! Did a get together with about 20 of us, most restaurants struggle but at Masala Art was a flawless experience from service to food everything went smoothly. Kebab, monos and jumbo shrimps were just some of my favourite dishes we ordered.Recommended dishesSamosa Chaat, Chicken Biryani, Dumplings, Gulab Jamun, Onion Bhaji
Wow, this Indian restaurant seriously, has some really really good dishes. We are five of us. We ordered veg and non-bench food. For appetizer we had vegetable pakora, veg dumplings and I have to say my favourite fish pakora. For me I had a chicken tikka roll delicious my friend had Shahi kofta, this amazing paneer dish that became my favourite now & naan. I highly recommend you try discretion. I will definitely go back again. And again. And chef please keep up the same consistency.
Wow! Just amazing. Was looking for a good Indian restaurant for a special occasion., I'm so glad I found this. Masala Art, really they're masters of the art. The food so great and Authentic Indian style. The Momos, Chilli paneer, the Manchurian and the Veg fried rice. I've never had such taste anywhere in Montreal. I'll definitely keep going back again n again. The owners are so friendly, make sure you're served to your needs. The place is maintained well, good ambience neat and clean. Possible for group dinner/partying with lots of parking spaces too. I found my new favorite. Vegetarian options: The available vegetarian options are few but you'll not be disappointed when you actually try them.
