Been here twice, last year & this year - consistent quality of food! This would be my top restaurant to visit when I am in the Niagara Region. Their sashimi is high class and clean. Dishes are well portioned. Servers and the owner are both very nice
Exceptional service from start to end. Each and every staff member from the servers to the chefs were all very polite and courteous as soon as we entered. The sushi was fresh and very very presented. The overall ambience and environment of the restaurant was classy and relaxing. They were also very knowledgeable and experienced when we advised of any food allergies. Overall, we would definitely return here again!
We had a lovely dining experience at Masaki! The restaurant provided an appealing ambiance, and seating was spacious between other dining parties. The service was outstanding; Shiho waited on us, she was very friendly and attentive but not overbearing. The manager came by to ask each table how their meal was. It was evident they truly care about their customers’ experience. Our food came out at a comfortable pace, the starters and entrees were timed out perfectly, not too fast and not too slow. The food was delicious and fresh, we enjoyed everything we ordered. We will certainly dine here again! They provide a menu with GF, vegan & vegetarian options as well which was very helpful when ordering.
Genuinely the best Japanese food/Sushi I have had outside of Japan. The service was fantastic - warm, welcoming and attentive. We had a selection of different starters, along with the premium sushi plate and each item was just as good as the last. Would not hesitate to return. Be sure to try the lobster miso soup! It's worth it!
We have given up on “all you can eat” sushi and prefer to spend our money here instead. The food is always fresh and incredible! Absolutely worth the price and we’ll continue to come back! This time we tried a sake flight and it was great as well!Recommended dishesEBI Mayo
The service here is really good. The setting is quaint and welcoming. The dishes are like works of art and a feast for the eyes. My party was split on how tasty things were. The things we all agreed are were the Miso soup was amazing, perhaps the best we ever had. Tempura were perfection as well. The dynamite roll and spicy salmon were not to our taste. We were split on the sushi as I thought it was fantastic but another in my party thought it was a tad dry.
Okay, wow. When you walk into this extremely beautiful space, you’re greeted by friendly staff and a stunning dining atmosphere- and it only gets better from there. We had the lunch specials, which were incredibly reasonably priced given the upscale nature of the restaurant- and the tuna tartare- which absolutely rocked our worlds. Not only that, but our server, Saya, made our experience even better than it already was. Totally impressed with the level of service we received. Definitely a noteworthy stop on our trip to the falls.
Service is great. I would give 4 for the premium sashimi set and the aburi sushi. 3 for the Blushed Salmon maki.. too much cranberry juice to my liking and the miso soup is mad salty... The sushi rice is too hard, No flavour and no vinegar.
One of the best sushi’s places I’ve been to. Great service. Great atmosphere Great staff Fresh ingredients Reasonably priced Lots of unique dishes like the Lobster Miso Soup
A great spot for premium cuts of sushi and Japanese cuisine. The sashimi was fresh and tender while also having a buttery texture. Although it was our first time trying soft shell crab, it was flavourful, crunchy, and felt like a delicacy. The assorted tempura was as expected, but the tempura sauce was too salty. As for the Masaki roll, it was a unique take on the california roll; the balance of sauces used and seafood worked well together. We were impressed by the aroma and subtle sweetness in their house blended soy sauce. Their staff was friendly and knowledgeable on the dishes served. Keep in mind that the prices are higher to match the quality of food. Premium sashimi - 10/10 Soft shell crab - 9/10 Assorted tempura - 8/10 Masaki Roll - 9.5/10 House blend green tea - 9/10
