Hidden gem of state parks. There are 9 primitive dry camping spots that are best left to short travel trailers or RVs. 4wd is recommended but I saw a few cars that did just fine. Along with that you can disperse camp. The park is quiet and beautiful. Amazing drive along Skyline drive.

What a fascinating park spread across a low mountain ridge that rises out of Palouse country! Take Skyline Drive from US 95 to the WA-ID stateline for an interesting excursion. Plenty of views and stops await. Picnic or even camp there. A mountain bike trip thru here is rewarding also.
