Have been coming here since I was a kid, best sandwich place ever!!! Love the deli style pickles, tuna pasta salad, macaroni salad, the sandwiches and wraps are huge and my favorite. Always my first stop when we are there for a visit!
I would usually give this shop a five star but unfortuanly today when I picked up my order I was disappointed, my sandwhich had far less than the usual amount of meat that is put on these sandwiches. I come to this shop because of there generous portions of meat but today that was not delivered.
Wow. I got an Ol Smokey and sure wasn’t disappointed. Absolutely delicious sandwich. I got the potato salad to go with it and it didn’t even make it to the car. I’ll DEFINITELY be back. Thanks y’all for feeding this fella today.
I’ve been going here for over a decade and this place has never disappointed. Great loaded sandwiches, great prices, great service. I’ll be a customer for life if they keep up the good work!
My wife and I Walked into Martones market and ordered 2 large subs. While we were waiting , one of his employees was sweeping the floor near us and pulled out a hanky and started to blow his nose in the food area. He looked at the expression on my face as he blew it and laughed out loud. I was grossed out! . I don't think I'll be going there for awhile!!
Definitely would recommend to anyone in the mood for a delicious sandwich! Huge servings, great for sharing or anticipating leftovers. Everything was very fresh. Service was easy and surprisingly quick considering how busy it was. Seating is quaint and home-like. My picture below is of the Italian on a spinach wrap.
ALWAYS hopping! Big sizes always get the “whole” and save it for a second meal — more bang for your buck! Martones never goes wrong: fresh ingredients, laid back environment.

Best deli around. Their sandwiches are HUGE and stacked with high quality Boars Head meats, no nasty cheap stuff here. Half sandwich is usually enough for one person but grabbing a whole on a sub roll is easily a full meal for two. Ragin' Cajun, Vermonter, and Darkside are their best sandwiches but you really can't go wrong with anything. Great for eat in, or take out.
