Martine's Bistro In Comox

A group of family and friends recently dined at Martine's while we were visiting the Comox Valley. Everyone at our table commented on their dish which ranged from Turkey Stroganoff to Ribs, Seafood Linguini and the 3 course dine around menu was a big hit. It was very tasty and the service was top notch. The venue was very quiet that night so it was a good choice for our group of 8. Loved the decor and everything about the place. I would highly recommend this great little restaurant.

We had an excellent dinner with our friends. On Sunday there is live music which made the dining delightful. The Red Snapper was delicious and all our meals were very well presented. The cook and staff are very skilled. Well managed establishment.

I ordered the roast beef which was tough and very bland, it did not have any seasoning or crust on the outside (about half my serving was fat too). the vegetables that came with it were 3 slices of carrot, half a baby bok choy and a slice of boiled beet...all with very little seasoning. The gravy was also very bland. The Yorkshire pudding tastes as if it came from the freezer and cooked in a dirty pan. the lamb shank one other person ordered was so tough that it couldn't be sliced off the bone, over all very disappointing.....this place would NOT survive in Victoria or Vancouver.

We ordered several appetizers in addition to our meals. Incredible food. Great service. The ambiance was fantastic.
