First time at this store. It's big. I may have said hippies would be great here. One of the better markets in the area. But the people at the deli counter the kid noticed I had on a Dr Who shirt & we chatted about it through the traction. Checking out the cashier noticed I picked molded bread and was right on it
I was having trouble with the self checkout. After waiting several minutes for the cashier to stop talking to her co worker she with an attitude started pushing buttons shaking her head and saying several times I don't know what you did. Sorry but I use self checkout several times a week. I'm not perfect and I could have made a mistake but I didn't deserve that kind of attitude from a worker especially at 6 am. I will travel the extra 4 miles to Meijer. She made me feel uncomfortable.
Bought a premade salad, all of the lettuce on the bottom was rotten. the cucumbers had been frozen ad then thawed. Waste of money. Last time i buy a premade salad from that location.
The customer service is excellent, the flash food is excellent. This is the store you trust to provide a great variety of top shelf items the other store’s would not have.
Usually go to Martin's in st Joe but they were out of the 25# bag of softener salt. I than drove to Stevensville location, purchased 2-25# salt. Up until this moment every was going well. Paid cashier, she than ask the lot assoc to help load me....... you ready? his reply "sorry I'm going on my break" My jaw dropped, cashier said just wait here we'll get someone. Because of loading asst I had to give 5 stars.
The produce is good but the bakery and deli has gone down hill. The bakery is still ok though
Great grocery store, wonderful deli area/salad bar...a little spendy, but good quality.
I shop at this Martin's every single day and being a family of 6, I buy a lot of groceries. However, I am going to start going else where because I shouldn't be buying expired food that they put new label over. Yes that's right, I bought some cheese pretzels from the deli and they were expired and they printed a new label with different date and put over top. Then 1 week later, today... I bought a pack of Paczki and noticed they were harder then supposed to be so I went to look at the expiration date and NOW it's just torn off. The manager assured me he would address it and well he sure did, I guess now they are tearing it off instead of putting new label on top of expired label. I'm so disgusted by this, it just honestly blows my mind!
Love this place , a classy well laid out and presented supermarket. I like everything about this store.
Only place I know that has 42 checkout lanes that aren't ever open. But the one lane that is has 17 people in it and unless it's changed none are self checkout, so if your in a hurry for any reason, save yourself the headache and go to meijer..
