Martin's People's Storage

Staff is friendly but I REALLY don't like that were not able to access our locker past close which is 7pm and I think 5pm on Sunday. Way too early in my opinion. Doesn't give people who work much time to go after if needed and if you're late leaving you get hit with a $120 penalty charge! Also our stuff was just COVERED in rat feces so anything taken from there must be disinfected exteremly well. Haven't had much issues with it since summer season but now it's all still been contaminated unfortunately. Rates are okay in comparison to other places but still too much in my opinion.

My experience with Martin's People's Storage 42 Terry Fox was excellent. Each time I have been into the office I am treated well and courteously. My unit was ready on time and clean as a whistle. I would recommend these storage units highly. One other thing... they have so many units, you can rent a unit of reasonable size for under $100.00 tax in. Good value compared to the competition.

This storage space is great along with price. However when I first inquired about renting storage the lady working... Gave wrong information to myself and my friend. Then when it was brought up, the lady claimed I was lying..... about 24 hrs access, late fee from leaving only 5.00. well lite space. Now that I've been renting for 4mths I've learned Unless the office is open their is no lights on in storage space. Which the rental units open and hour before and after business hours. You actually have to ask the office to turn lights on when going into units, they are not left on. When leaving from rental space late their is 85.00 fee. It's a great space for the money.

Despite my bilingual difficulties. Customer services is excellent professional and patient. In the occasion that Francophone was a great experience to do business with them. Although everything is in English and the explanations are easy to understand. Merci thank you

Great staff and easy to work with,, up to date emails for days the facility is closed due to weather or other reasons. Good prices and and easy access to thd facility.

When signing the contract, they assured us that the lockers were clean and pest-free. We came back a month later, and mice had ruined our belongings, including several hundred dollars of clothes. When complaining, we were told that it was our fault, despite not having food in the locker, and that if a neighboring locker had food that they had no responsibility. Don't rent from this company, your stuff will get ruined.

Only complaint is cannot access early enough and if uou pay by credit card your access code is frozen until payment goes thru every month on day of payment

It's a self storage so that's kind of self-explanatory. That two different staff people, both of them very friendly and very helpful. To me that's a big deal. The buildings seemed newer and well-maintained. Clean dry modern facility. Inside of the units were spotless, which is a big deal because we're storing someone's Furniture in there. My only complaint is that they're not open 24 hours. They seem to have about half the equipment installed to be able to have keyless entry at night. Not sure if it's on its way shortly or if they just decided not to move forward with that. other than closing at 7 p.m. I have no other issues. But that's pretty darn early.

I made a reservation for a 5x10 storage unit, we spoke on the phone and decided to do it the next day as it was late in the day already. I was on my way and my wagon broke and was forced to drag a pie cart with my belongings on it, when I went to pay they refused MasterCard which was pay as ya go issued from my bank BMO . After his sad excuse for an apology I said "you could've told me that on the phone " He was rude and Spiteful...no stars would be appropriate

stuff stored got mold in it, bad smell , do not advice any body to use this company very bad customer service cheating and charging for more periods that you never used . Persons on phone are so rude ,need to know how to build up good reputation .
