Three generations of our family – soon to be four - have been dealing with Marsh & Son for over 10 years. Lance, Rita, Paul, Royce and Matt are truly exceptional at their jobs – this is not a cookie cutter, box store with ill informed staff. These individuals love the jewellery business and all that goes with it and their passion shows in their product, customer service, customer care and relationships created. They have created an atmosphere where I can explore and savour the items offered for sale – some new, some vintage, some estate jewelry – all one of a kind and all beautiful. The quality of care, interest, education and support we enjoy with Rita, Lance, Paul, Royce & Matt has forged a relationship that we value greatly, such that we do not shop at any other jeweler in town. We know we are afforded great value for our dollar. Whether I am looking to purchase a gift for someone or something for myself, or simply to have my jewelry cleaned I am greeted with warm smiles and hugs. Rita makes time for my innumerable questions, helping me to choose the perfect gift for any occasion. I always learn something about my jewelry – how to care for it, how to keep the diamonds sparkling in between professional cleanings, the cut of the stone etc. . Matt is a creative and innovative design and repair wizard and is my first choice for repairs, alterations and new designs. We only recommend Marsh & Son Jewellery

Really great place to find a variety of styles, old and new. Way more interesting than most retail stores. Pricing is reasonable, and staff are able to consider flexibility. Great to be able to take jewellery for reworking a design. Rita is a good listener, and the product met my expectations. I make a point to drop in and loll!

Rita and Lance made my engagement and wedding ring selection process stress-free and fun! Rita had great ideas on a custom wedding band (that I love!) and Matt brought it to life. It is always interesting to see what is new in the store and there is always a welcoming and smiling face to greet you!

Rita and Lance are wonderful! I had a vision for a custom engagement ring, a timeline and a budget. Rita was super helpful with the design, Lance picked an amazing stone for me, I stayed within my budget and the ring was ready on the day I was promised ! I couldn’t be any happier. I will be returning to marsh & sons in nanaimo for all my future jewelry needs! Thank you again for my beautiful ring!
